losing a silvercard is the same as losing a normal simcard
Ring your network and get them to block the card and send you a new replacement. Then start again to extract the imsi/ki etc.
And of course be more careful not to lose the silver sim next time around :D
Loosing a card that runs Dejan's original unmodified software is a risk... any PIN will turn it on!!! Pins ending in 1 will activate the first provider, ending in 2 the second and so on...
If you use any modified version with "real" pins just cut your losses, grab a new one and program it again (providing you kept you IMSIs/KIs on a file somewhere).
So is the SIMEMU silvercard secure then? If you use proper PIN and PUK codes, and codeprotect the flash part of the PIC it should be safe from attack (assuming the phone is switched off when lost)?
Also would the Ki be safe from extraction? If I did lose the cloned SIM it would be good to simply make a new copy using the IMSI and Ki values without worrying about someone else making a clone with my card's details.
Thanks
Paul.
If you're using any of the modified versions, yes...
Not the original one...
