I have a black Cingular razr
S/W Version R374_G_0E.42.15R

I bought it and the master codes have been changed from defaults so I can not reset it. I can get it into boot mode holding down * # and power.

But every time I connect it to my computer via USB I get USB Device Not Recognized when I try to load the driver manually it says there is no information for my device.

The phone fails to call anyone with my sim card in it or with a pre paid sim I have once you have a sim card in it and booted up and call the number it goes to voice mail.

So my question is what or how can I get it hooked to pc to try and flash a new firmware on it. I cannot seem to get around the USB Device Not Recognized I have 2 other razr's that work fine a black one and a grey one.

Thanks in advanced for pointing me in the right direction.

BTW: I have tried holding power down taking battery out then sim then putting battery back in waiting for it to ask for sim then putting sim back in and power cycling it again.

Let me know what you think waltercell. The phone has not had water damage. I bought a credit for GOT because someone else told me it could repair the PDS but I am not sure it can since the computer always never sees it as a motorola just Unknown device. Hey, use P2k easy tools (USB smart clip needed). You can download a cracked version if you dont have such clip or you can use UNIMOTO to reset to default code.

I just need some more specifics from everyone. First the exact model of RZR you have as well as what exactly is happening with the screen cause it can drastically affect what needs to be done. If the screen is black simply make sure all your cables are in place and if that doesn't fix it you need a new LCD. if it's white there is a plethora of things that could be wrong. If the top screen is working but the inside one is white it's a problem with your magnet up by the camera most likely. If both dsplays are white then most of the time you just need a new battery. If these easy fixes don't work let me know I will trouble shoot further.

- phone probly drawing too much current , attach power supply with digital readout to the battery contacts and wee how much curent it is using - anything over 100 mA would be abnormal - if it is check the pcb for components getting hot

Hi mate, for unlocking a V3, you don't need testpoint, just one data cable and mstools 8r you can unlock it without any problem i have unlock a few ones, so check it and post results mate;);).-

Friend, maybe your phone has any ic in short circuit, usually is the PA, you can check if it gets warm you remove it, and your problem could be there.-

I have a v3 & I stopped working properly & was stuck in bootloader mode, then the battery died, so I was unable to charge it. I ended up trying a nokia battery I had lying around & it worked & I was able to reflash the phone with a monster pack from the motox website. It seemed to flash ok, but now the lcd screens do not work. Both the inside & outside were working fine before the phone messed up, but now for some reason they both do not work. I did have this problem before & I was told to reflash, which fixed it, but I tried this & nothing. I don't know what to do. I'm currently using my very old nokia 6260, which has a battery life of around 2 days. I would be very greatful if you could help me with my problem to get it working ok. Oh & in the current state, the phone seems to be working ok in the background, well from I can tell. I was able to change the ring volume using the side key, just a pain the lcd's are not working.

i do high level repairs for motorola wat u need to do is simple is to remove the heat shield next to the battery connector anfd heat the ic in the whith aheat gun pour enough flux or u can pour flux in the shield without removing the shieq an heat it wth a heat gun for one minute if not sucsesful repplace the p cap wich is your power ic in the same hea shield next to the battery connector tell me after that:cool:

Hi, i'm not sur if my phone is S60 V3. It's nokia 5800 Xpress music ,RM356 with soft version V21.0.025.

I want to unlock the simlock and :

1- Whn i try to use the Dejan method by trk, the BB5 Card info v1.00 tell me that smart card is not found. Open card error. i try with PC-Suite mode and mass storage connexion mode.

2- I installed s60_3_1_app_trk_2_8_6.sisx and s60_3_1_app_trk_2_8_9.sisx before make the upgrade and now when i try to install this apps i read "unable to install component is built-in" and i can't install this aplication necesary to unlock with this mode.

3- I try to unlock by JAF emulator but i dont arrive to make it.

Do you know how to follow with step 1 and 2? or do you know how to unlock this phone with out pay to get one code more expensive than the price that i payed for the phone?

batt conector=ok-->4.7 volt
