I have installed TomTom 6 on my Nokia N73. I removed it because I couldn't get the maps working because I had the wrong key. Now I know how to activate the maps I want to install TomTom again. I had put the files on my mem card. No auto install. Went to Applicationmanagment. There was TomTom listed. Clicked on install. The program started to install, but after I couple of minutes I got the message "Can't install".
Please help me: how do I install TomTom again?
had the same problem on N80, backed up my contacts, done a master reset *#7370# (not sure if yours is same code) and installed again.

Please help,
i recently installed tom tom 6 on my new N73 which was ok, i uninstalled it for warranty work now its saying cannot install.....i understand theres a master reset in the menu...can any one give a step by step guide as to how to reset this phone so i can reinstall the software please help me.......

1st - Remove TomTom from your memory card
2nd - In the area where you dial a phone number type: *#7370# and press dial.
The phone will reset and reboot.
Done!
Install TomTom again.

i now have tom tom 6 on my N73, it shows every map except GB, when i view the memory card its there but the phone wont pick it up....any ideas??????

i now have tom tom up and running but when i put code in for gb map its now saying wrong code...grrr...any ideas?????

Hi,
I also couldn't install tomtom 6 and i tried the master reset trick but that didn't work either.
I try to install it but during the process it says ' Couldn't install' after about 10 seconds. Does anyone have a suggestion about how i can install it?
I have a N73 btw.

i now have tom tom 6 on my N73, it shows every map except GB, when i view the memory card its there but the phone wont pick it up....any ideas??????
Check the version of the map. If it is any older than V6** than TT6 won't see it. You will need newer map.

Try entering codes with and without the spaces both ways. Some devices work one way and some the other.

i had the N80 and i had the same problem t re install tt6 , the solution is to update the phone . accept to re install ever it says "no update" in nokia.com
I have a problem with backlight,,, its always off....!!!! any idea? i have a E62. Thanks in advance

Its Hardware probs.......
i dont think so because its ok on regular usage... just when i open the tomtom, it dimmes.... so confused ...
