recent sitiuation ultima is best good support all new models on other hands smart clip is still quite looks like near to end or make more mony in paid update for his customers ultime have difficult interface as compare to smart moto but u can say ultima is subtitute of mss4 in friendly price

sc flash file's also will get from other support too..
but to read a language pack you need to open phone for new models :p
and need tp friend.. if the language pack there is no support area dnt have.... ;)
also possibility to read full flash w/o tp is not a benefit???? with compare sc ...



For ultima there is a stand alone BULK language flashing available...

Can someone name a box that had so long time support as long as ufs3 and SmartClip? Of corse,we are talking about motorola phones and ufs doesn't count here.
SmartClip made for me a lot of money till now and I hadn't damaged any phone with it till now-if you respect all the instuction all is ok.
In my opinion this is the best for motorola phones and I hope that SmartClip Team will keep supporting this box.

i took a ultimabox for changing language in the new k1 model.
i do it very easy without test point ......direct mode.
very good support with flash files available and stable operation.
for flash and repair i think ultimabox is better.

for unlocking smart-clip is easier to use.

installation of the ultimabox is litle complicate in the beginning i think.

Well, Ultima box represent the present and the future in Motorola (at least this is my opinion)
Just watch latest updates ...

- First in the world K1 support and many many first in the worlds features before too.
Now, then exist also Motorocker software for the Ultima box - it is perfect: It can be used BOTH: like standalone box (clip) and also like PC-based solution.

- The Turbo-support account that comes with this allows acess to lots of Motorola flashfiles, but ALSO NOKIA, and other interesting stuff.

- Langpack flashing takes about 20-30 sec and don't need Testpoint. Just FAST AND SIMPLE
And there are indeed a lot of langpacks avaiable.

- However, Unlocking and Repairing still needs Testpoins in most of the cases.

- Before anybody acuse me of advertising (however some people will do), there is also a minus: it is needed to print and read- and follow CAREFULLY the activation instructions in order to get the box working and activated.

First I have never had a lunch with SC makers and supporters, and second SC doesn`t have blue back light, as a mater of fact it doesn`t have LCD at all :D LOL :D

P.S. Not to mention LP flashing without TP, unlocking in less than a second, support, MotoRocker a PC based SW, PDS repair without a need for net connection....etc, etc....

Then, satisfied that they have made it, they will relax and forget that the product needs constant updating to stay on top. Thanks, huzsolt, for saying the very thing I've always wanted to say, but feared I might be accused of using foul language. These polls do not serve any purpose, if members will only vote for the tools they use, without comparing them with others. many many flash files are missing and many lang files are missing.
for support area MSS got it all , all flash files needed ...
on ultima support area is big and got other support flash files ... like nokia , original motorola etc , and can get any flash or lang you need or conver from what you have in no time (very helpfull).
ultima is almost stand alon for all oparations include flashing , and soft of ultima dont need to limit you if you format pc.
i got a pc problem yesterday , and still not formated cuz of smartmoto serial changing every format !!! :mad: if i format i cant use anymore what i paied for !!! this is BS.
SC is very good tool , but team is not working correctly ... if they working on something new , i think they should let their customers know .... and not just say lets wait and see....
after i bought ultima , i doubt that i will upgrade any paid addon for SC , as i dont need it .... other the imei on all moto :P
anyhow , SC maybe was the best and first on many unlocks 6 months ago ... but thats about it . if you lose 1 customer cuz you couldnt unlock cuz of your tool..... and other tools can unlock it ... something is bad ;) . go get a new tool.
im happy i bought ultima , even thought i can unlock every model we have here with SC . ultima can flash without TP , this is the best thing there is .

As mss always flashed without tp, all flash files you need are in support too. And most important, that you dont need always read somwhere 'Worlds first!!!' etc. Mss dont shout, just make updates, and was alot phones, that I didnt new that mss supports them, just connect and make.

p.s. I have Ultima, have sc and mss, but mss leaves all of them far behind.

Smart Clip it is true that they boaring with Licence since the computer infected with the virus after format and rebuld again the licence expire, if you ask them to bring the new one, you need to connect server then activate on line, and they know that other country like Tanzania has many problem of internet access point, so shift daily from one place to another exprienced difficults. Come on guys, we have ODM ACER & P2K flashing without tp in free ***_lite for heaven's sake. Even MULTI-BOX offers ODM compal as free add-ons for their customers.
I believe ULTIMA suppose to have that as the future best BOX.

I reckon is MSS but I havent also I m using smartclip with ultima box I used before cracked version its very successful but wait and see soon as smartclip coming new dongle, like jaf, it will be support all new futures moto v6 , v3xx etc etc.

If u want USB flashing then use rsd or mff! Even sc flash is slooowwww. I seldom use box to flash a phone unless it's my last option.

I have both boxes. I got tired waiting for SC updates so I bought Ultima. When it comes to TP unlocking and support my vote goes to Ultima. It unlocks via TP without all the reading flash id, reading pds mumbo jumbo that SC shows. That's why i unlock a phone via tp in a few seconds (after connecting the phone to box of course) :D

I think I have talked online with Ultima Supporter via ICQ more than 10 times last month. And some of them are just silly questions.

Both boxes have its own advantages.

One is always better then each other.

In next update if sc is ahead then everyone will vote for sc and next update ultima is ahead and every1 will vote for ultima.

Let why not shut the .... up and get on with our work and only post useful info.

i feel sc is better for none tp phones. ubl is better with tp phone.
ie. v3rohs with bl 0A.52. ubl has a different tp which don't have to remove shield. with sc you have to remove or cut shield to get to tp. ubl is much faster the sc.

smartclip: great box to start of with, yes even better than mss but with the xtra s-card charge and delay in k1 and 6.3.6 it is now being compared to ultima. oh and the 1 year warranty and then pay for site access is also a joke :eek:

Ultima and Ultima LIght are different products dude. You were talking about Ultima Light, and endeed it is Usb smart with new name, and the name similarity with Ultima Box is to mislead the customers. And it seems they were succesfull.
Ultima Box was introduced in 2005 winter by Legija as a standalone box with its own operating system, capabile to run scripst and to extend it's functionality. So you can Unlock, repair, make read -write operations, like downgrade bootcore, read language etc. It was the firs box witch can upload LP's to motorola phones without TP, and this was in 2005. Smart Clip can do the same thing since 3-4 months?
Here it is a light description of what box can do:

Unlock time is 2 seconds for most models,
* No need to open phones to flash language pack,
* Fully standalone PDS Repair functions, no need for internet connection,
* Turbo flashing speed - You can change language in Motorola phones for 25 seconds now,

You have UBL so you have good support Flash files.
You have smartclip maybe you dont have support Flash files (you must buy again).
For smartclip you have do like UBL, JAF (NOKIA), Universal box, Infinity box & etc.
Who have original box/dongle so he can use support area.
