Pimp my phone :) 6310 with 100% colour lcd !

Hello forum members,

As i wrote - it's 6310 with 100% colour lcd.
Not colorized like cheap sagem phones, lcd comes from 3510i.

Are you interested how to do it?
Firstly find working 6310, NOT 6310i (you have to use 6310 because it's dual band like 8910i which is based on hagar).
Backup imei area in flash (use jaf or karwos suite or..)
Change flash ic into K5U64418TM.
Flash mcu, ppm and cnt using 8910i flashes.
Write .rpl, pm from 8910i, full defaults+unlock.
Change lcd into 3510i (use glass only, frame from 6310i).

After this you have working phone. Maybe you will need to increase backlight( chang leds etc).

I think about putting white led driver, then it should looks better.
Also there is a project with polyphonic melody.
If you are interested in this project then let me know, maybe we can made polyphonic together.

you can find this ic in Nokia_DCT4 : 3100,3120, 3200, 6100, 6200, 8910i.
You must use this flash ic because it's combo flash.
here's full info about it:

Samsung combo flash.
64Mbit FLASH (4M x16) + 4Mbit SRAM (256k x16)

It will not work becaue imei in uem in your 6310 will be different than imei in flash.
1. Take WORKING 6310 2.backup imei in flash, 3.put new or used flash, 4.write sw, 5.write rpl which was made in point 2. got it?

it won't work because 6310i is based on mjolner (8910i has got hagar same as 6310).
you must use 6310.

BT is working properly, i didn't test irda but should work.
Many people ask me about rpl, what do you want to do with "my" rpl ?
You have to backup your imei area and after all write your rpl ! if you will write "any" rpl then your imei in flash and uem will be different = imei will be "?????????" . I can't write it more clearly.

About pm: just use search, don't be so lazy ! There's a lot of posts with it.

I DON'T KNOW.. I don't use cark91, if 8910i was designed for it then should work. the best solution is to test it by yourself ! :)

this is, because your phone do not know your battery.

bsi Resistor in BPS-2 and BLS-2N is 3,9k
bsi Resistor in BLB-2 and BLD-3 is 6,8k

my be you can solve it via special PM, if you can not solve it, modifi BSI in Phone.

6310 100%% working with color display ,

i sucessfuly converted one phone into color display,

i changed XXXXXXXTM flash but always gave me erasing error on 10. process failed,

so i changed flash into XXXXXXXTA and worked like a charm,

just got problem in NOT CHARGING , so write many pm files but not solve ,

so i modified battery and put BLB battery in Bls , and now phone working 100% and charging too,

but lights are little dim, i changed from 6310i led;s but not so good, any idea about good leds??

in my mind ... i will try 2100 leds...

IT WAS told many times you must change some parts on board to make it working properly (phone must see bps2 as bld3).

I was find only this information about not charging:

this is, because your phone do not know your battery.

bsi Resistor in BPS-2 and BLS-2N is 3,9k

Different bw 2 battery bsi line is 2,9k. On the 6310 pcb bsi line is a 4,7k (R240). I think if i change this resistor to 7,6k will work. Now i'm not find 7,6k, but i was put a 3,3k bw R240 and the UEM. This is now 8k. I was think this is not too big different, but not working. NOT CHARGING :(
If i can change to 7,6k will work, or need other solution?


edit: now i was put 2x15k in paralel (7,5k), but not working yet. Have other different also bw 2 battery? Or i make something wrong?

I backup IMEI -> I click to Rd UEM button.
I saved "Npe-4_350842200156686_Back.rpl" and when the program ask "UEM changed?" I wrote "0" -> No.
I get two file -> "Npe-4_350842200156686_Back.rpl" and "Npe-4_350842200156686.ask"





2.)I change the flash ic to K5U64418TM.

3.)I flash the phone with UFS.
Autodetect product - Not Checked
En. BT Fl. - Not Checked

I choice this files to flash:

PPM: nhm4nx5.31d
CNT: cp_pd_5.310



4.) I click to Wr UEM -> Choice "Npe-4_350842200156686_Back.rpl"

bro. ur problem is the lcd because some lcd of 3510i or 3530 are not original you must fine the original your work is done ive try kind of problem b4...

6310 100%% working with color display ,

i sucessfuly converted one phone into color display,

i changed XXXXXXXTM flash but always gave me erasing error on 10. process failed,

so i changed flash into XXXXXXXTA and worked like a charm,

just got problem in NOT CHARGING , so write many pm files but not solve ,

so i modified battery and put BLB battery in Bls , and now phone working 100% and charging too,

but lights are little dim, i changed from 6310i led;s but not so good, any idea about good leds??

in my mind ... i will try 2100 leds...

As i wrote - it's 6310 with 100% colour lcd.
Not colorized like cheap sagem phones, lcd comes from 3510i.

Are you interested how to do it?
Firstly find working 6310, NOT 6310i (you have to use 6310 because it's dual band like 8910i which is based on hagar).
Backup imei area in flash (use jaf or karwos suite or..)
Change flash ic into K5U64418TM.
Flash mcu, ppm and cnt using 8910i flashes.
Write .rpl, pm from 8910i, full defaults+unlock.
Change lcd into 3510i (use glass only, frame from 6310i).

After this you have working phone. Maybe you will need to increase backlight( chang leds etc).

I think about putting white led driver, then it should looks better.
Also there is a project with polyphonic melody.
If you are interested in this project then let me know, maybe we can made polyphonic together.

about 8210 its dct3 and will be problem with it because cololur lcd came after 3510i probably.. dct4..
better thing is to make some research and modify pm for correct charging, it would be better than hardware changes (for these who ask why we need to add resistor to r202 to charge: before converting 6310 charges battery like BMS-2S, after converting it needs to charge battery like bld-3 from 8910i, so we need to make phone able to think it's bld-3 inside, not bps-2 as in real :) ).
anybody have some dct4 pm's description and can share?

btw. some pics attached, one of best made colour, I have used diodes +flex from broken n70 display, it lights with really good effect.

these "gold" covers for 8910x are not so good in my opinion, as all copies it looks BAD after some weeks.
