Problems with my w950i

Hello people!
I have recently got a SE W950i and have been trying to upload some of the software from this site, but when i put the phon einto normal transfer mode, my pc can not detect it so i cannot transfer!:confused: anybody have any ideas?

I trust you've installed the PC Suite software? Make sure you have the latest version from the Sony Ericsson website and follow the install instructions (you might need to make sure the phone ISN'T connected to start with). Once the PC Suite software is installed and has detected your phone you can use the install software option to do just that.
