Weird Problem

Hello, a guy left his SIM in my hand. When i switched on phone, it says SIM rejected. I used SIM Editor (by SIM MAX) and entered PUK1/PIN1 to unblock but without success and SIM EDITOR Software says repeatedly that I must enter PUK1 to unblock PIN1.

I was able to clone this SIM and It's working fine on SIM MAX card, network signal strong, can call/send sms...But how to alleviate SIM REJECTED problem??

How did you clone it when step one require's pin1? I think you are not right.

Nope.. SInce PIN1 is blocked, SIM MAX didn't ask for PIN. It retrieved KI successfully and I waS able to clone. But why do I get SIM rejected and SIM does not accept the PUK?

Seems u are not following through. I'm asking help about the problem mentioned above!!!

U need to extract KI from sim, which can be done through SIM scan. I use SIM MAX 12 in 1 card!! If u get error, then don't force reader or your SIM is damaged. It depends on Algo. some use COMP128V1 and those algo above are difficult to extract KI from!!!

SInce PIN1 is blocked, SIM MAX didn't ask for PIN.Great idea! If you don't know PIN1 - simply block it (by entering smth wrong trice) - and you'll get full access to the SIM, even for use SELECT GSMFile and RunGSMAlgo! Nice!

It retrieved KI successfully and I waS able to clone.In fact you might have got a card with strange combination of Security Status: 'PIN1 disabled' and 'PIN1 blocked'. I've already heard about such cases but never met.

But why do I get SIM rejected and SIM does not accept the PUK?Check for the Card Security Status (with appropriate software, f.e. Woron-scan 1.09), may by ypu have NO attempts to Unblock.
