Hi!

We want add a new menu in Nokiaphones!
(like A1-Dienste or QuickInfo from Austria...they are great!)
In this menu you can select some thinks
Example:
You have to find a bank.

Go to menu "QuickInfo" select "Find..." -> select "Bank" -> enter "ZIP-Code" and press "OK"
after that the phone (or SIM) generate a SMS with have all data for searching BANK in ZIP xy
The SMS go to a special phonenumber!
After that the computer search in a database and receive a SMS with the name of Bank, street, tel-number,....

I think the commands are stored in SIM!
Is there any way to create this menu?

Please help us!!!
HOW much is the solution????

THX

Well, not a big surprise... :) You may have a SIM card with SIM Toolkit (Phase 2+ or later) with SIM Toolkit application - like the Quickinfo. You can see this menu on every mobile phone with SIM Toolkit support (NOT just Nokia but many phones made after 1999) if you put this SIM card in.
Please note that NOT all informations are stored inside SIM card. When you select option from menu, SIM Toolkit application asks you for some input and then send request to Operator (usually by SMS). Operator processes the request and send you back requested information (automated process) from database also by SMS. Usually you have to pay for it...
This was just a short example - SIM Toolkit application may perform many tasks (even invisible to user). In our country you can ask your bank to store banking application to your SIM card and then you can access your account from mobile phone's menu...
As you can find in some other topics, I made a SIM card with SIM Toolkit menu and I know how to make a SIM Toolkit applications but I am too busy to make application per your request. I do not have any special development kit like Operators have.
You can try to ask your Operator for SIM card exchange to obtain new SIM card with STK application requested - it should be possible for small fee and you should not lose your current number.
