had post a few weeks ago and received an answer but advice didn't work...have 6102b, got damp (dot turned pink) everything seems to work but I can't get anything but INSERT SMARTCHIP upon startup...I tiried re-heating chip as suggested, also was advised to look up "jumper" on forum info, but found nothing pertaining to 6102b unit and nor find anything "jumper" in my actual unit as seen on one of the forum's picture files for 6101 units...
any other ideas how to get phone to see SmartChip ? I have two chips and they work fine in my other phone...
