How to make a testpoint connection???

Okay, i've got a dead 8330, a USB/com flasher cable, and Vygis LG 1.20 and setool 2. I've tried flashing, but the both come up with errors. I know the cable is fine, because i've flashed other LG's and they were fine. It looks like i have to cretae a testpoint connection. Now i know where the TP is on the PCB, it's just a matter of grounding it, right?
But if I connect a wire between TP and GND, how the hell am i meant to be able to switch the power on? Is there some way of powering up the PCB without using the keypad?
Could i just use croc clips between the TP and GND? Should the conection be soldered on, or is it enough just to hold it in place?
All help is GRATEFULLY appreciated, this dead 8330 is driving me crazy. :(

If read any Manual of any BOX like Furious Cruiser Setool ect .... u found what u need to do or just Press Search boutton in This Forum mate.

You will use a Pointed Tip that springs back(like in FBus Cable), Dont solder mate because SW wil ask to connect/ Disconnect TP...Hope I give you a HINT...Still use SEARCH BUTTON

I DONE IT!!! The phone is alive and unlocked to all networks! EXCELLENT STUFF EVERYONE! Here's a quote summarising how I feel:

But... the phone now thinks it's a 8130... so the camera does not seem to function properly. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks for the diagrams, but I've ALREADY done the TP, and the phone is now working- apart from the camera. I was wondering what firmware other members have put onto their 8330's which enable the camera to function properly?
