Hi,

Does anyone know "fki2.exe" and/or "sim backup v1.2".

Is there a list of clonable cards anywhere? Or should we start over with a new one?

My List! (very short:-) I started with this hobby on wednesday!

Movistar Activa (Year 2000) working!
QUAM NOW (Year 2001) killed:-(with cardinal)

My experience with dutch cards:

libertel prepay -> not cloanable with both cardinal and simscan
Telfort postbank prepay -> cloanable with simscan
Dutchtone -> cloanable with simscan, destroyed with cardinal

I tried to extract ki from my one2one sim card with cardinal but failed, the card was undamaged though so it was ok.

I would very much like to add my one2one along with my orange one on my SimEmu card.

I have tried extracting the KI from the following cards in use by voicestream USA. A Gemplus with Simscan, 2 successful extractions.
An EONS with Cardinal, which broke the card. The EONS also seem(ed)s noticably slower than the gemplus cards.

how old is your card? contract or payg?
i always get a Error Reseting Card message when trying 2 extract ki with cardinal. (its a payg card bought last january)

DON'T use cardinal for ki extractions, most uk sim cards now **** a fuse at a set number of reads on the ki. It is believed that the fuse is set to around 65535 times, ie FFFF in hex.

Cardinal does not limit itself in the number of tries, and has been known to leave your card knackered!

Use simscan in win98 full screen dos box.

There are quite a few tutes around for this.

Following cards successfully "brute-force extracted"

Telestet (Greece) 202 10 (Year 2000,2001,2002) ok (cardinal)
Cosmote(Greece) 202 01 (Year 2000,2001,2002) ok (cardinal)


Unicom (China) 460 01 (Year 2000) ok (cardinal)




The IMSI given by the cardinal software must be converted into the format given by the Towitoko Card readers. (08 x9 ...)

Working perfectly with simemu.

please explain step by step how i can clone these sims and what to do with the IMSI and KI numbers i get. How do i know the PUK from these?

If the vstream card still works in a phone then your sim_scan is not working correctly. Make sure you are in pure dos mode from a cold boot and that you run cwsdpmi.exe and then sim scan's ki extraction should work as well as the other functions.

I have tried extracting the KI from the following cards in qatar by using Cardinal and it was successful extractions but i can not use the sim_scan.

No Luck extracting the Ki for Genie Sims. I didnt even manage to extract a single character.

My BT Cellnet one may work, the PC is still working on it.

Orange is ok.

All using Cardinal 68
