SonyEricsson P900 Update Service

hi guys respect for all the guys on this forum this is the best forum ever.
i have a p900 and i tried to update the software via a dcu cable but it didn`t worked( on the forum someone wrote that`s beacuse of the charger)
so i gave up...4 hours ago i found a deskstand for p800 at a neighbour...he gave it to me..and i tried for 4 hours to update via update service..

it hangs at the instrucitons( turn off your p900...2.remove baterry...)
i tried everything...unticked the port from mrouter.
removed charger from deskstand
disabled antivirus and firewall...
i have the lastest java version,...
everything...
till i thought ...i see that on device manager at com ports the deskstand shows as DCU - 11
dcu 11 can`t be used for update service? only dcu 60 and dcu 25?

p.s.:the deskstand can be used for backup and the other things

I've tried several times, on a 2mb connection. The update service for the P series is garbage.

scribbles do u think the internet connection could be the problem?anyway my internet connection is good...i don`t understand why the SE update se4rvice doesn`t see my P900...it still shows the instructions i must follow after i follow them and put the p900 in the craddle.have i done something wrong?
