K800i erom update doesn't work

Hi!

I have a K800i with the erom problem, updated with Kulankendi and I got this:

Hold 2 and 5 buttons together and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Detected: DB2020: K610,K790,K800,W850,V630,W710i(c),Z710i(c),Z610 Series
Flash ID: 0x897E - Supported
Status:3
EROM Update Ok!
All Done! - Time:0:03:00

But nothing has changed!, it wont display anything, it didnt fix anything, I have retried like 8 times with same luck, anyone with this same problem?

What you want to fix, you aren't going to see any difference after an EROM upgrade.

After a successful erom update and when trying to flash the phone I get this error message:

Hold 'C' button and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Detected: Unknown! Series

Unknown series? wtf it just told me It detected the phone!, what am I doing wrong???

hold 2 and 5 for erom update :)
read manual first :)

- For EROM update hold 2+5 keys together
- For others operations hold "C" key.
- U can repeat EROM update even 1000 times, it's allowed. After EROM update click READ INFO to see if EROM version is updated. U will not see any visual differences after update EROM. We suggest to update EROM (when is old) to prevent phone to be self Dead(old EROM's problem).

All is correct. Sw detect phone but can't read phone model , so "unknown series". This error it's often error when is problem with cable, dirty connector etc.
Another tip: After EROM update, flash etc. ALWAYS remove battery from phone and put back. Phone will be always detected(show "connected") coz this is USB device and it's really detected by Windows API.
I can bet that U didn't remove battery and put back after EROM update :)

My main problem here is that no matter what I do "C" is not detected, only 2+5, I mean I hold "C" and nothing happens, only when I hold 2+5 is detected, I tried in another computer and I get the same error, I borrowed my friends DCU-60 cable and still "C" doesnt work, plus I get the same unknown series error. Please help me I don't want my phone to die :(

Hi

With "C" key phone will not be detected if EROM is broken coz in EROM are stored USB communication procedures. So only 2+5 keys will enter phone to recovery mode. If U still have problems with detect UR phone, then maybe EROM is serious damaged. Try use RS232 communication, use settings button and select com port and speed. If this option will not help it can mean that EROM is seriously damaged. Series info is detected by CPU ID, if nothing works, contact with me , I'm curious what ID are detected :)

So I guess Im gonna have to try to get the RS232 cable, tough job to do here in Mex, its not easy to find, anywayz, I'll keep you informed. Thanks.

EROM update easy by other tool...i done many k800i...try to serch pls...

Before ask for help please read manual for KK client. There we explain basic options. If is not enought then ask :)
Anyway if Your phone don't startup first read information from phone, check EROM version and firmware version, if EROM is old then update it and check if phone start, if not then flash MAIN only with same version as You have in phone and check if phone start, if not then flash FS and check if phone start, if not then probably is hardware problem.
