Dead Infinity plus box before used

Dear Infinity support,
I have again ordered a new box. This time I receive a blue box labelled "infinity plus". My computer is not able to detect the smart card. The box itself is installed correctly but dont work even as simple universal box.
As I have my old one buy 6 months ago when I switch the smart card inside its work like a charm.
Conclusion, my new box is not working but smart card is fine.
I want to know if there is any solution to repair it or should I pay shipment cost to send back and support again same shipment charge to receive a new box.:(
If you have any trick to advise me it will be very appreciated.

Hello,

Please, open unibox and check contacts near Unibox USB connector. It can be that small soldering defects or probably connector/ucb cable defects. Please, check it before send unibox for replacement. It can be that possible to make easy repair process and it will be faster than replacement procedure.

If you sure that Unibox dead, please, contact to your reseller or by mail: support@infinity-box.com
It's need to replace Unibox only (no need to replace smart-card if you already registered your smart-card on our server).
You can include link to this thread in your mail when you will contact to your reseller or to support@infinity-box.com

Thanks to your support. I rehot all parts, resold again usb hub now my box can work well as universal box. I already used it with some free sotfs to test it.
But the schlumberger card still not detect by my pc. I check even the card holder but still same.
Any other advise will be appreciated too.

Hello,

card-reader inside unibox is very easy (only several resistors, capasitors + led), connected to PC via built-in unibox usb-hub. If unibox become working after rehot it can be that not all pins of usb-hub (TI chip) was soldered good). Also it can be that card-holder contacts not connect to smart card good.

Problem solved.
Remove resistor R26 under sim holder and make jumper.
Thanks to Christophe (my reseller), he already send me one empty hardware that is coming by dhl.

i have the same problem,smart card did not work.but nobody helped me.i tried what the support said. :confused: there is no support,no help.i don't like infinitybox.

It looks like you want to make litle bit bad reputation for me instead of try to solve the problem.

Please, make this to solve you problem:
1. try to install Infinity-Box on other PC to avoid problems with your PC
if stillno luck:
1. contact to your Infinity-Box reseller and describe him situation with your box.
2. ask him what you shoud to do. probably he can make box replacement
3. if reseller has problems contact to: support@infinity-box.com
4. describe the situation and talk with this person about future actions: installation/replacement etc.

Be honest and tell to everybody who has no support and who is little bit lazy to contact to reseller !
