ok can some one correct me before i throw this gold box in the trash !
ok from the start.
1 log on to furious support site and download drivers by steve also smart card drivers
2 insert usb cable into furious gold box
3 when prompted point the request for rivers to furious drivers by steve
4 when drivers are installed restart my pc
5 download and run furious gold maintance
6 get error message ..no smart card found
7remove and reinsert dongle from inside f-gold box
8 then when requested install smart card drivers ( dongle is picked up as usb storage devive and usb hub?)
8 go into device manager and and check for device in universal serial bus controller which states furious gold driver as listed and ok
9 then go into com ports and furious gold is listed as com 4 and working ok
10 try to start maintance and still get no smart card error
is this wright or wrong because i have tried and also had box exchanged once allready and also tried this on 2 pcs and one laptop all with same results ..so is furious gold just s**t or is it me ???:confused:

Well you must install smart card drivers aswell. click install on ini. also be ssure no other smart card reders/mmc readers attached to pc. if same resallers exchanged u damadged one with same u sent.

i installed the smart card drivers by right clickin on dongle in the drivers folder them clickin intall ... then i restarted my pc for drivers to take effect and you are the resseller .. i bought direct from furious gold team :(

it shouldnt matter but generally windows recognizes what its installing then you just point it to the folder the furious driver by steve is in and your good to go. Furious Gold is sweet clip.. the last place you want it is in the trash ;)

Win XP/Win 2k with latest SPs installed or not. If u have attached to pc any bluetooth , mmc readers etc adaptors pls remove.

What hell ? 98 is verry old OS and mostly noone use. As for Vista most of the applications and drivers not 100% ok with it so not really a mature OS as Win XP or Win 2k. Or maybe you use Linux / Mac ?
