do one thing you keep that display which you had change ..

This is not hardware problem, it is software problem.
if the phone works fine with other features.

Try full factory reset with eeprom tools 3.1 (www.b-phreaks.co.uk) or try reflashing new mcu/ppm fully then use eeprom tools to calc faid...

its the display, take the screen off and have a look at the rear of the screen, you should be able to see 2 resistors, you need to swap these for higher value ones, or do what most of us do and get another lcd
