i have ~100 pcs A31 in this week - all with ST chips. All unlocked & russ lang - ok.
p.s. i use 2.3 & 2.3.3 versions (some phones have bad EEFUL, but it repaired with write EEPROM & repair IMEI data)
You try to write full flash for russian or write only language?
because if I try to unlock phone - all is well, if I try to write T9 and lang pack - all also ok. But when I try to write fullflash or firmware - I always see this error.
But when I use winswup+xbi file - all is well, phone alive and working good
P.s. of course. I use last version of DBSS

but anyway - why I have this problem?Phone works well after repairing using WinSwup
May be it depends from computer? I use Intel Dual Core processor...May be this is problem?

i test my phones on notebook: IBM T42-Intel Centrino 1.70 Dothan/Intel Odem i855 Chiset/1Gb RAM/USB 2.0
