Please run the upgrade client after you have installed the software, follow the instructions careful.

The Update Client is launched after install, if you cancel without making the update, you can run the Update Client again, by selecting the shortcut on the Start Menu:-

We wait all this time and we get only an 'average' update? This is the kind of update that other boxes are bringing to us within days of a previous update. Maybe Saras are working on something different and UFS is being slowly fazed out? No new SE, no Samsung ZXXX unlock support? May as well have waited till you had something worth releasing!

It would appear your box has alien auth data, you need to do REQ->FBI procedure and send .req file to your reseller, who will send you a .fbi file, which you need to use with the Update Client. This is a UFS problem, not a HWK problem, so I will not explain the full procedure here, you can check the UFS support area for more details, but check my note below as the procedure is changed a little.

NOTE:

The Update firmware button is now in the Update Client, also software licenses have been moved to here.

No problem:

Need Win98 with old ufs driver

Download the attached File. (Ufs2_v25.rar)
- Extract it to any known location.
- Run Dctx_Ufs_12m.
-generate old dctx sting with AnBCalcv0.3.exe
- Upload Ufs2_v25.fbi to box. (Box Down_Graded)
- Upload Req.fbi to the box. ([SERIAL].req will be generated)
- Generate [Serial].fbi using req2fbi.exe.
- Upload [Serial].fbi to the box.

Need winXP and NEW UFS driver:
Run DctxBB5_Ufs 2.0.3 (or 2.0.4 i not probe)
generate new dctx sting with AnBCalcv0.3.exe

- Click "Yes" to update your box's firmware.

Whole operation must without HWK

this setup has been delete system files on NT(xp) (NTDLDR, NTDEDECT). Please Resolve This Problem :S

Please stop using 3rd party tools to manipulate your UFS and HWK and the problem will not happen, no one force you to use 3rd party tools and we will use any method of protection against this we see applicable.

Just few updates but still updates. For a box with such an old project is a miracle that they provide updates. And this mean Saras is still working on this project and maybe will do some more important updates. Any way I love this box it was my first box I ever buy it, I was a fan of " only free solution " untill then. And this box is still working, for ex. I didn't succeed to flash a Samsung X210 with NS Pro but I succeed to flash it with UFS, that doesen't mean that NS Pro is not a good box but what I want to say is that Saras's Box is still realy get me some time out of trouble.

I'll purchase one cause server flashing is not good for business cause when customer returns his phone for warranty logs for that phone cause me double already and its not good this way. stand alone tools are still the best.

v3.0.3 is not vista compatible since the executable protection used in this version would not work with vista. v3.0.4 has an executable protection which we are lead to believe is vista and 64 bit compatible, so maybe you can test that on vista.

You dont need licenses, you need valid auth data, and you need to get this from the REQ->FBI process.

Why not advise your reseller what he has asked for will not help you, instead to wait 3 days for nothing.

Saras is always doing R&D into boxes, devices and other such, for example I have one of his solutions which was before HWK, but has never been released, DB2020 is likely to be released for HWK later one.

REQ->FBI process is an old process for UFS, the problem will only happen if the box has had alien auth data injected to it, e.g. from UFS3Tools, since its algo is not 100% like the original algo.

Since the REQ->FBI process is now moved to the update client, I will make a sticky post as you suggest.

seems like a good update although i wont be using the newly added phones. but... i would like product support for the LG phones that have "bad product settings" such as c1300 , g4015, etc. i've had my n-box for about a year and my gts-box for close to 3 months now and i have yet been able to use the c1300! all retailers has the n-box gts-box, etc, listed saying that c1300 , g4015 are supported when they really aren't, talk about false advertisement!!! these phones are still old but people still want them! please sarassoft, odia, whoever it concerns, make your software able to work with those older LG phones!!!

i'm using it witout any prob after install i updates my hwk and it's working fine.
and yeaterday i unlock kg800 witout any prob flash 5 or 6 handset in nokia and in samsung x430 and it's working fine for me.yes i add one more think for this setup i remove my old ufs driver and after setup i install driver from new setup.may be that cause u not sure but try it if u having prob.mine is going good and no prob at all...

Yes. Starting from Suite 3.0.4. only both ATRZ and RTP modules are working without HWK.

But since there is nothing new in these modules, is better to say v3.0.3 was the latest version to work with UFS alone.

Next release installer will be called HWK Suite v2.0.5, note the release number has been lowered to be inline with the exe versions, this should help to be less confusing to users.

i think you have a firewall installed on your PC that prevents the update client from accessing internet properly, so try to disable your firewall or make it to allow the update client to access internet, thnx, B.R, bye ...

yes you can also you can update the hwk with another box on another computer as the problem is not in the hwk itself

This is probably a server overload problem beaucouse i had this problem for 4 days and i tryed everything, and 3 minutes ago i did the upgrade regulary in about 20 seconds, now everything works ok... Just keep trying. Good luck...
