Description:
J2MEFaceMatch is such an application.
It stores one or several master faces of the mobile phone owner, the user need to have a sanpshot of the face and match with owner`s face, if it passed the match, it will allow the user see/edit some secrete info (ex. phone number), otherwise it will deny the access.

Sounds interesting, does it really work? Test yourself! Remember the face should be straight front face filled with viewfinder the way as you take the master face. To create your own master face in your mobile, you need to signup after you take a good quality master face. Of cource the master face is not necessary a face, it can be any image that only you know. When match, you need to snapshot that image to compare.

FAQ : Why the BestMatch take so long
Answer : The time to match depends on the mobile. If you have a powerful mobile phone, the match will be faster.
FAQ : Why the match is always failed?
Answer : One reason is that the light condition of the snapshot face is changed too much from when you taking your master face. Your snapshot face position in the viewfinder is also important, it should not shift too much compare to your master face for FastMatch. Another reason is that pass threshold is too high. By default we set 80%. When you SignUp you can specify youw own threshold.

* How to copy a schedule.

* How to set up Calendar rule.
o Press "Options->Calendar rule" to specify keywords. The "default profile" in the calendar rule screen specify what profile to use for the calendar entries that don't have any keyword matched; if set to "None", then those entries will be ignored.
o Only the calendar entries within current week are shown, but Smartprofile will load your calendar automatically as days go by.


IMPORTANT :
* SmartProfile ONLY starts changing your phone profiles when it's running in background mode. So after you have finished add/edit the schedules/locations, go back to the Profile view, and press Hide to let SmartProfile run in background mode. And SmartProfile will change your phone profiles according to your schedules.
* The application identifies your current location by the cell (base station) that's serving your phone. It's possible that your phone is covered by more than one cell at some point, so after you name your current location (one cell), the application keeps detecting other cells of your current location. As a result, the application will show your location as the named one and "unknown" for a period of time. The application will merge those cells automatically eventually, or your can name the "Unknown" location again to manually merge them.

Regardless of how many numbers/contacts it has to analyse it rejects the call if needed in some microseconds, before your phone starts ringing and disturbs you.
* Just busy. Because of real-time number analysis and almost instant call reject all unwanted callers won't even know that they are blacklisted, they will just hear busy tone all the time.
* Scheduler. Scheduler makes BlackList your completely automated personal secretary. The service can reject everyone except family member at night, accept only co-workers at business hours on working days, etc.
* Real interaction with built-in contacts. When you set up your black lists you can add here contacts from your contact book (not just import phone numbers!) and even more you can insert here groups of contacts. Just create in your built-in contacts application some groups like Family, Spammers, Co-workers, etc and add these groups to as many lists as you need without adding tons of contacts to every list.
* Service based application. BlackList is professionally made application and consists from configuration application that you can start like any other application and service module (always-in-memory process). When you have configured the settings you can activate the service and close the configuration application. The service will do all job using really small amount of memory, system resources and absolutely transparent to user. Just configure and turn it on one time and you can forget about it and forget about all unwanted callers as well.

You can create as many lists as you need and activate the one that suits your current situation.
Only one list can be activated at one time. You can activate/deactivate any list using "Activate/Deactivate" commands.
Currently active list is marked withhttp://www.smartphoneware.com/product/s60_3/res/blacklist60_3/mark.gif. If no list is active then the service will perform no call filtering action.

There are 2 types of lists:
* Black list. If activated it will reject only the correspondents listed in this list.
* White list. If activated it will accept the correspondents listed in this list only and will reject everyone else.

Hint:
- Empty "white list" - will reject all incoming calls.
- Empty "black list" - will accept all calls.

You can add as many correspondents as you need to every list.
* Contact. You can select contacts from your contacts book. All phone numbers that the contact has will be blocked or accepted (depends on the list type)
* Group. You can select groups of contacts from your contacts book. All contacts that the group has and all their phone numbers will be blocked or accepted (depends on the list type)
* Phone number. Type here any custom phone number.
* Unrecognised number. Represents all callers who hide their phone number or their phone number were not recognised by network.

When you finish setup you can turn the service ON to start filtering all incoming calls. When the service is ON BlackList configuration application is no longer needed and you can close it in order not to waste the memory and resources, the service will stay in memory and will do all job.

When service is activated you can see brief status of service activity in application status line. Like "Rejected 3 / 4" - means 3 calls have been automatically rejected from 4 total incoming calls.

Please note:
service activating could take some time (some seconds) as it has to prepare and organise all your data (fetch all phone numbers from listed contacts/groups of contacts, etc) to be able to analyse incoming phone number during a call in real time.

Scheduler is a very useful function of BlackList application that can switch your lists automatically based on defined time schedule. For example Scheduler can block all calls every day after 23:00 except the ones from very close family members, at 9:00 it can allow everyone to call you except some numbers you have blacklisted. During working days when you are on working place it can allow only "work" calls, etc

You can create as many scheduler "rules" as you want. If you don't want some rule to be enabled you can disable it (without deleting it) and when next time you need it you can enable it again (no need to create it again).


Call forwarding
Imagine the situation you are on business conference and want to accept some "work" calls only and don't want to be disturbed with the rest of calls. But you don't want to lose them! You can manage such situation easily with BlackList application. Just set up BlackList to accept needed calls only and use Phone built in "Call divert" options. To reach "Call divert" options, please start the system application "Settings" and select "Call divert" item here. This command allows you to configure Call forwarding service of your network operator directly from the application. Turn "Divert if busy" ON and set up here your secretary/voice mail/etc phone number and your network operator will automatically forward callers rejected by BlackList application to the specified number.

Handy log
You can always take a look what numbers were rejected by the application. To see rejected calls log select "View log" command from menu. Here you will be able to see all such calls sorted by time and call back the rejected caller from this view.

Frequently asked questions
1. When a blacklisted call comes in it goes to my voice mail. Can it just be rejected only?

* Yes. If rejected call goes to voice mail it means your network provider re-directs the caller to your voice mail when receiving busy signal from your phone . Some providers set this behaviour on default when you buy a phone. But you can change this behaviour directly from your phone: Start system application "Settings" and select "Call divert" command here. Select "If busy" item and than cancel divert command.

Export/Import:
If you want to back up your data you can use Export command. The application exports your data in comma separated text file. Please note that this file is not encrypted and you can open it in readable form in Excel application on your desktop PC. You can import your data to the application using "Import" command. Please note that when you import data it just adds notes listed in the importing file to the existing database. If you already have the same note in the database you will get its duplicate.

Security:
You can password protect and encrypt your data stored in Best Jotter. To enable security use 'Set Password' command. After you specify a password all your data will be encrypted. Every time you open Best Jotter the application asks you for the password. When you work with the application all data encryption/decryption is performed on the fly and absolutely transparent to you.

If you want to disable password protection use 'Change password' command and specify an empty password.
To keep your data secure we use ****Fish encryption and MD5 message digest algorithms.

Please note:
your password is not stored anywhere inside the application or on the device in order to increase safety. Password verification is performed by checking digital signs (digital signs say nothing about your password nature). It means that no person (including the application developers) can open and see your data without specifying correct password. Please don't forget your password as there's no way to access your data without it!

Security options:
You can set up automatic application lock (password screen appears when the application is locked). To do so you can use Security options command and specify inactivity time period. E.g. specifying 15 seconds here means if during 15 seconds you don't work with your device (don't touch any key, etc) Best Jotter application will ask the password again before you can continue to work with the application.

Taking notes was never as comfortable as it is now with Best Jotter!

How to install a map :

- start GPSMap, select Options/Maps, select Options/Add map...

- the map will be listed, with a red X mark, which means that is not calibrated yet, and it may not be used until it is calibrated.

How to calibrate a map:
For calibrating a map, you have to go to at least two different places on the map by foot, by car, by bus, etc., with the GPS device and your phone. Both times, you have to locate your position on the map by selecting Options/View and calib. at the list of the maps. In this view, you can use the joystick to move the map in large steps, or press the ABC button or (pen) with the joystick to move smoothly. Press 'I am here' to record your positon (a red dot will show it on the map). After you have set at least two places, the red X mark at the list of the maps will be a green sign.
You can calibrate a map on your PC with OziExplorer, if you know the coordinates of at least two points on the map.


How to calibrate a map on a PC using OziExplorer
Download OziExplorer (hxxp://www.oziexplorer.com), and start the TRIAL version (if you do not have a full version, of course). Select "File/Load and calibrate map image", and add at least two points: select Point 1 on the tab on the right, select the position on the image, then enter the coordinates of that point. Repeat this with another point as Point 2.

Please use points far away from each other, e.g. one in the left bottom part of the image, one in the top right part of the image.

Select save, then exit.

How to install a map calibrated with OziExplorer:
- copy the map (*.gif or *.jpg) and the calibration file (*.map) to the phone (e.g. with PcSuite, in the same directory);
- start GPSMap, select Options/Maps, select Options/Add map...
- navigate through the directory structure by pressing the joy left or right, select one or more files (the icon for maps with calibration files will be "OZI") or directories (for directiories, all applicable files in the directories will be added to the list) using the joy, then press OK;
- the map will be listed, with a green sign, which means that it is calibrated.

How to display your position using a map :
After calibrating a map, you can use it to display your position. Go to Options/Setup, and set Diplay to the name of the map, or set it to 'Automatic'. In automatic mode, always the map available for the current position will be displayed.

Valid/invalid GPS position
The information received from the GPS device may be valid or not (depending on the number of satellites). In text mode, valid information is displayed in blue, invalid in red. When displaying a map, a blinking red dot will mean that the information is not valid, or the GPS receiver is not connected.

Settings
Display: text, automatic or a selected map (only calibrated maps are listed). In text mode, latitude, longitude, speed, course, altitude is listed. In automatic mode, always the map available for the current position will be displayed, otherwise it shows that there isn't any available map. When a map is selected, positions outside the maps will be simply shown using a blank screen with the red dot in the center.
Always on: prevent the phone from going into standby mode (to switch off the screen).

GPS devices
Any Bluetooth-capable device is supported, however, the program is tested with: Pharos BT-100, Fortuna GPSmart, Rikaline BT.

How it works
1. If you want to call back when you're having incoming call (the phone is ringing) you need to press Callback key to call back instantly, no need to reject it manually (as in this case the application "thinks" you don't want to call back this rejected number). Also the application doesn't erase last known "good" number when you have a missed call.

2. You can press Callback key when you have accepted the call already (e.g. to tell the correspondent "I'll call you back in a moment", in this case the application will hang up the call and call back the correspondent as well.

3. Also the application saves the number of your last conversation, so if you recall something important only after the phone talk is over just press the callback key to continue the conversation.

Configuration
Configuration is very easy. You can set up any key you want to be your callback key and start/stop the service.

Best Callback is a professionally made application and consists of configuration application that you can start like any other application and the service module (always-in-memory process). When you have configured the settings you can activate the service and close the configuration application. The service will do all job using really small amount of memory, system resources and absolutely transparent to you. Also, the service starts automatically at system start (if activated). Just configure and turn it once and you can forget about it as if callback functionality is built-in to your smartphone.

Security:
You can password protect and encrypt your data stored in Best Safe. To enable security use 'Set Password' command. After you specify a password all your data will be encrypted. Every time you open Best Safe the application asks you for the password. When you work with the application all data encryption/decryption is performed on the fly and absolutely transparent to you.

If you want to disable password protecting of your data by some reason you can use 'Change password' command and specify empty password.

To keep your data secure we use ****Fish encryption and MD5 message digest algorithms.

Please note:
your password is not stored anywhere inside the application or on the device in order to increase safety. Password verification is performed by checking digital signs (digital signs say nothing about your password nature). It means that no person (including the application developers) can open and see your data without specifying correct password. Please don't forget your password as there's no way to access your data without it!

Security options:
You can set up automatic application lock (password screen appears when the application is locked). To do so you can use Security options command and specify inactivity time period. E.g. specifying 15 seconds here means if during 15 seconds you don't work with your device (don't touch any key, etc) Best safe application will ask the password again before you can continue to work with the application.

Export/Import:
If you want to backup your data you can use Export command. The application exports your data in comma separated text file. Please note that this file is not encrypted and you can open it in readable form in Excel application on your desktop PC. You can import your data to the application using "Import" command. Please note that when you import data it just adds cards listed in the importing file to the existing database. If you already have the same card in the database you will get its duplicate.

Search:
You can find the needed card using "Search" command. Just specify a part of text you want to find and application will look for the needed cards for you. Search function will analyse all cards in all folders and will search for specified text in all fields in the card.

The pictures are in the file "TY1.mbm". The directory of "TY1.mbm" is "c:\data\TY1ScrSaver".

For example open the TY1-21 included in the rar then copy the "TY1.mbm" to "c:\data\TY1ScrSaver" and replay the current TY1.mbm and you now have a much bigger display...

IMPORTANT --> After replacing the TY1.mbm you must always restart the screensaver, by going back into the current theme youre using, going to edit and choosing another screensaver for example say "Date and Time" screensaver then "Back" and then going back again into the current theme youre using, go back to edit and then selecting the "TY1ScrSaver" screensaver once again

...or you will always see the small TY1.mbm originally installed by the sis until you restart the phone because thats whats currently in memory!

if you use the ultimate voice recorder,you must sign it first and register 0 or any no ....

The work on the second version began as soon as the first one was released. The main feature of the second version is the SMB client which functions on the phone. That is SMB server implemented in the first version allowed external access to the phone disks, whereas, in the second version, the main goal was the access to computer's disks off the phone. Therefore the interface of the application has changed. SymSMB 2.0 is mainly a browser that allows full file access not only to the internal phone drives, but also the shared network computer locations.

The main view from SymSMB v1.10 exists in v2.0, however it is now under "Options/Settings" and has an additional folder "Network drives",which allows to map the shared network locations

The main development effort is completed now. Everything works as planned. If you have access to a computer that is on a network then you can access its shared locations. At this time, the effort is concentrated on testing and improving some aspects of the user interface.

During development we had a few interesting challenges which were all successfully solved:
1) Specifications of SMB client allowed us to implement a flexible power-saving (key for mobile devices) policy when accessing the computer. This is because the transport channel is only opened when there are active requests from the client. As soon as there's no activity (inactivity timer), the channel is closed thus preventing waste of power for an inactive connection. In summary, when the client is active, the transport channel is automatically opened and then automatically closed when activity ceases. On the other hand, for SMB server (access phone drives from a computer) activity, the connection has to be opened manually.

2) In the new version, the transport has been completely re-engineered. We believe SymSMB v2.0 operates practically at the physical capacity limit of wireless channels.
Aside from the novelties in the new version, significant attention has been given to removal of defects found after release of SymSMB v1.10. We are thankful to all the users that reported the errors. It helped determine the reasonable priorities and the paths toward their correction.

Defects found in v1.10 can be grouped in the following manner:
1) Speed - there were many concerns about the low speed. This was partially our fault, but as mentioned above this is now fixed. In addition, we had to research the speed of Nokia phones' WiFi components. The results were quite interesting.

2) Notorious error -34. The problem was that this error came up only during very specific conditions. We were able to reproduce with great difficulty on just one of the test phones. At this time, after the upgrade of the transport system we believe that this error has been fixed.

3) Microsoft Office files - when working with Microsoft (Office Word, Excel, etc.) files located on the phone (this group also includes renaming or changing attributes of the files) the expected changes were not saved. This was fixed.

4) Multi platform support - while SymSMB v1.10 only supported WindowsXP, v2.0 now works with Linux, Mac, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows Vista as requested

Hi Uncell, I installed it in my phone N73 and tried to use it in another phone. But I can't paste any files when I copy any files in this program. Copy is okie but i can't find the word "paste" on menu! It's really good because it can access in the system font in phone! Can you give me the answer ! Thanks:)

Hi uncell, is there any app that can control start up process for N73? Everytime I turn off/on my phone, it start to install a app that I download long time ago, it's still in MMC but I couldn't find it there for I can't delete it either. Thanks!

i have spent the past few days surfing the net...trying to find the best way to fully take advantage of the GPS potential in my new N95.....but the problem is that route 66 as well as tom tom...do not support egypt maps...thats where i live......and the original software supplied by nokia is very defective......so ...can anyone help me...and guide me to the best software or best way to use the gps in egypt?
