DBSS v2.4, DreamBox Firmware 1.08

Dear users,
We are pleased to announce a release of new versions of DBSS v2.4 & DreamBox firmware v1.08 (http://dreambox.hk/downloads.html). (http://dreambox.hk/downloads.html)

In this update:
Added support for flash files in .xfs and .xbi formats.
New features released:

"Write Signed Software Update in SWUP Mode";*
"Set Normal Boot Mode" and "Set Secure Boot Mode";
"Repair Security Data" (improved "Repair IMEI");**
"Set Factory Mode" and "Set Customer Mode" (send or clear SKey);
"Read Security Info" (SKey, BootKey, BootHash, Phone ID, ...);
"Read Service Info" (phone info in service mode).

New program options:
"Set active phone model automatically after loading flash file";
Force "Safe Mode".

Enabled “Modify Contrast” feature for some older EGold models.
Fixed SL75 repair issues.
Improved "Read Master Codes" procedure.

More features to come.

Please, FIX bug with flashing CX75 v 23 and 25. After detecting phone via any boot mode ERROR and ERROR:mad: OLD version work fine in safe mode

Unplug, and replug USB of DBox, and esure have firm internet connection.

There a still problems arround old E-Gold based phones ... it's funny to not work correct with C55 for example ( or DBSS developers think that there no more working C55 units in the world, he he he ... )

i don't know about c55, but i flashed recently a a55 without any problem... ah, a52 and mc60 too :-)

I worked long time ago with C55, I have one unit for tests and I will try what you want Debeliamark.

I find problems with S68 Auto and Manual mode, that give me a lot of problems...

It appears that it is finally the end of the road for BenQ’s German mobile phone arm, BenQ Mobile. BenQ Mobile, formed when BenQ bought the remains of ailing Siemens Mobile, is now going to be sold off in pieces since no buyer could be found that the company’s creditors considered suitable. Assets like office furniture and computers are being sold off on Ebay.

BenQ Mobile was originally the mobile phone division of Siemens and employed 3000 people. Through a series of missteps, the company lost market share quickly to Nokia and Sony Ericsson and was eventually sold to Taiwan-based BenQ. BenQ stopped supporting the company in September 2006 when the division declared bankruptcy.

Its time to think other phone to be supported.
