View Full Version : *** Vk4000 Unlock Help Needed ***
hi, trying 2 unlock this vk4000 and followed instructions but having problems.
when i connect cable to connector and power on the vk4000 , it comes on and it asks for wavecom drivers .
on instructions it says vk4000 should not come on but it does. is this normal. any advise please. thanks

Not normal...Be sure pinout followed ok and gnd is pin 10 not 8 as posted before. Was a mistake.

thanks 4 the fast reply. u were correct and gnd was pin 8 , it has now been changed to pin 10 and vk4000 was unlocked. thanks:D
I tried to unlock VK4000 with this software....
The cable was with pin 8 on GND and I didn't have success...
Later I found that pin 10 must be on GND and all finished well...but now:
1. If I switch on the phone withot SIM card it shows properly "INSERT SIM
CARD"
2. If I switch on the phone with SIM CARD it ask for PIN number...
3. After entering PIN number some music playing ....blue screen with bubles
and after that on screen is monitor icon and "Connecting...."....it ask for
computer connection...
4. If I connect the cable my PC recognized Storage drive...I can open it and I can see My Music...My Images...etc....the folders from the phone.
How to go out from this mode and continue with normal booting...?

Thanks my friend...I tried these codes...the phone accept it....but still no help....after entering PIN code the phone stuck in "Connection...." mode...
More advice....is first wrong connection pin 8 on GND destroyed something?

If I connect the phone in this "Connection..." mode on PC PC automticly recognized USB device and Autoply open that disc and I can see it like Removable disc KFATO(F) with the folders:

- are you sure if in sw you choosed exactly vk4000 model for unlock and not leave vk200 as is default inside sw ?

Unfortunately i don't have Furious...but also v1.0.0.786 is Furious product...they gave it for free, isn't it?
Can you tell me more about Free Sw and "...Upload E2p Settings..."...???

You have intalled JAFF drivers for VK on your PC , with these drivers Furious VK sw will NOT work

1) Start SW
2) Insert Flashing cable into phone connector
3) Keep PWROn key pressed
4) ONLY now connect cable into PC usb port (win will detect
USB device)
5) Start Unlock
but all time give me
Device not found or not connected.
