strpping down an E350

Hi,
I've got an occassional white screen problem and am assuming its the ribbon cable.
Is this an easy home job to repair or do I have to take to a shop? I've had a search on here but can't find any info on how to get the phone apart, downloaded a few files but they seem to be schematics of the internals.

Can someone tell me how to get the phone apart please?

do you already have a new ribbon for the phone?

No I havent got a ribbon yet. I thought i'd see how easy it was to do before I bought anything.
Seen them on ebay for about £3 including postage.
The screen sometimes works or just half of it does & it seems to change colour too as it slides.
