1600 moved country, unlock?

I wasted quite a while this morning trying to find a package that would allow me to unlock the 1600 I bought on holiday in England (T Mobile) - I have an almost identical 1600 already. The UK has a serial number of 359375006854478

can anyone help? This IS a DCT-1 or DCT-2 phone, right? :confused:
