i got the original serial cable for patech, but i got this error:


Action: unlock
COM1 selected
Phone must be POWERED-ON !
Cable must be in "DATA" mode !
Connecting, wait...
Err: connection failed, try again !
Err: operation not finished properly
Finished, time used: 9 sec
Power-off phone by "Power" button (don't remove battery).

my question is.....do i need another cable ?

MY serial cable is ok.

i conect my box,
conect the serial cable to phone
and unlock.....

for unlock i need one cable or two....

sorry onley speak spanish

(((( conecto mi cable serial original de pantech al telefono, conecto ni infinity abro el programa de pantech y le doy unlock y me da el error que mennciono arriba....la pregunta mia es...

solo necesito el cable serial? o aparte va otro cable conectado de la infinity al telefono?

Phone has only one bottom connectoir, so even if you want to use two cables it's impossible due to there is no place in phone to connect second cable.

you must use original Pantech cable in DATA" mode (cable with special switch)
or
you must use cable according to pinout in support area for "DATA" mode cable.

Hi, i have the same problem with my cable, is the same cable in the picture, my question is, the serial cable need change the pinout with the pinout in the support page, or only switch in DATA-LINK...?

It's need only switch cable to "DATA" mode, no need to modify cable.
