need help fixing x820, phone ok but no keypad light, i checked the keypad with another x820 and it is ok, so problem is in phone, any one can help?

no, not water damaged...
are you sure not make it 'off' state in display setting... try for full reset first..with *2767*3855#... it make all setting parameter value into default..
