View Full Version : Blackberry 7290 "device Error:365 Reset" Repair Help
Hi mate i have blackberry 7290 its problem is whe i power onthe phone its giving following error "DEVICE ERROR:365 RESET" then i try to flash the phone but soft ware giving this message UNABLE TO CONECT TO THE DEVICE please how can i solve this problem please can u help me

strange i have seen many of these handsets and never this error..If you cant flash it then it must be a hardware fault for sure..
were to get the flash file for Blackberry
i just had one of these yesterday with same problem. first of all did u enter password ten times wrongly. i did and it became this way. just flash with firmware found on blackberry forum. fone will be back to normal.then to unlock make sure firmware above 4.01. good luck bro. these phones are hedhache.
Did you even read his post.....he just said he couldn't flash due to connection problem:confused: :rolleyes: @ Nasmi have you found a solution for this problem yet as I'm having the same trouble with my 7290.

I think error 365 unfortunately means a hardware problem. That's what I've read on the blackberry forums.....it must be because I have tried about 15 times to flash and it hangs in the same spot. There seems to be very little blackberry knowledge on this forum apart from copy/pasting the same old instructions.........
ok here is what i did when u connect to usb i had no drivers or blackberry suite installed. i made sure it was off (not showing Error 365 with the shapes underneath) you only want the red light on. it should find as RIM then run flash. This is what i did & 100% works. just to let you know here it is realive.

i know it was not hardware cos mine is fine now. just play around putting battery in & out till you get it how i said (red light). i know contact blah blah search more you will see:p :p :p
i also have same with me connection problem 7290 "error 365 reset" btw how to reset.I try to connect the phone to desktop manager its says usb-pin:unknown pls tell me how o revevi this phone

could you please let me know how to flash the BB 7290? I just got a BB yesterday.. and had only 10 Min until it crashed and only appears with the error message. I'm highly frustrated... and tried to flash it with the desktop software but I did not get alive just keep on the error message

I used this method to revive mine yesterday... it was kinda strange, i wiped my handheld and all of a sudden my fone refused coming back so i got the same problem too.
All i did was...
Download BB 7290 firmware... run apploader
As usual copy 7290 firmware folder from C:/program files/common files/research in motion/.............. and paste in drive C:/
plugged in USB Cable without battery
It started erasing.... after it finished the soft was waiting for JVM device bla bla bla....
I now disconnected fone and this time connected fone with battery... 2 my surprise it started loading application and it finished updating my device..
I finally used FG to unlock it successfully...
