hello
today i receive two motorola W220, when i unlock phones it ask me to prepare first phone

after press prepare i have this end at end phone is dead

Hi,

flash in phone firmware ver 1120 (only Main part, no need to write other parts) and repeat process.
Be sure that battery fully charged
Be sure that you downloaded latest updates from support area
Be sure that cable completely Ok

may be this flash have different sectors map? cos looks like phone not erased properly!

to Leroy - try read full and send to infinity team ( or read just eeprom backup after this error ) this can help if with new fw you also get same error/

thanks for advice

i dowload main flash file w220- V1120, and after flash phone with the same cable , the phones were alive and i alredy unlock the phones without problem .

Sory for using this thread but i have ( somehow ) the same problem. But, when i connect the cable to phone connector , the keyboard led's on the phone mainboard , start to light. I think that there is a fault in the connector also ( i used my cable after and works great on other phone ). I try to use another connector from another motorola phone but i dont have another W220 , and all the other connectors that i have here seems to dont be like the phone's one.
So , there is any other type of connection? i mean some sort of TP? by soldering wires somewhere on the mainboard? OR what connector exactly can i use? from what motorola model?

remove battery
insert cable
start soft
when program asks to power on phone- insert battery
and if process did not start then also push Power buttion

mr infinity other problem jaja i have bad luck, other piece with the same problem when i flash and turn on the phone show me "pack error" on display

i have a w220 that was fm problem at first. i flashed in infinity box. after flashing set on but 900/1800 band not working. i flashed using another file and shows "pack error". i flashed again , but it became " phone not authorized" . i prepared and now network lock . when unlocking it need 'prepare' . after preparing same condition. please give me solution

and some times when flashing w220 it shows probably bad model selected continue.... what is the problem

Problem is NOT with hardware or battery - problem is with INFINITY SOFTWARE!!! PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!!!
