Dear users,
We are pleased to announce a release of new versions of DBSS v2.5 (http://dreambox.hk/downloads.html). (http://dreambox.hk/downloads.html)
This version offers the following new options:
Battery calibration*;
Key Manager (allows to add/edit/import keys manually);
"Get info about box" option showing box data from the server;
"Burn In Test"**;
Corrected "Repair security" process;
Improved "Scenario" procedure.More features to come.

* This function is developed for automatic calibration of phone's battery settings after wrong flashing.
** By using this feature the phone settings can be set to the maximum values (maximum LCD backlight, vibration level, the speaker (buzzer) sound etc.), therefore the handset turns to maximum energy consumption.

Good features for repair .I havnt this box but looks like good hardware for repair - no just for unlock like other!

you are right! it's not just box for unlock ;) you can write difference type of flashes, change language, repair IMEI, repair contrast.. and also there is very useful option - scenario for work with a lot of the same phones :)
Thanks DreamBox team for this update! i think option "calibrate battery" is very useful :)

dreambox cable solution not pefect m 2pes demege s68 rj45 socet diagram is 8 pin and use 6 pin very compliy. and not provied dreambox deller new cable comlitly my deller say u just try modifide y? compny cable not perfect so i just modifide?

Finally after a long time my box firmware got updated to 1.08, but since then this error, which ever version of dbss soft used, from 1.8 to latesr release 2.5
Reading Info---------------------------------------------------------------
User selected phone CF62 using Test Point boot mode
Warning : You should conect power to your phone
Error : You short power connector to ground, please check it.
Warning : Battery voltage 0 mV
pls advice how to solve problem

What features?? Just see our comparison table (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=357299) - from last table update nothing changed, except the versions of the program. If you know any important features that can be found in competitor product, and cannot be found in DreamBox, please let us know and we will immediately update the table.

hey other tools already supported for other kind of phone, for ex. F3 unlocker,LG......
as we know benq siemens was dead,
just add latest benqsiemens phone sgold2
maybe some of com emulation too, so we can emulate dreambox as com port...
we know, dreambox is the fastest siemens flasher, but will be nice and great if we have fastest update from Dreambox team.

Man it's a benq based phone so Dreambox will not support it.Check Vygis or Infinity

Dreambox HW is very fast. Faster then others boxes and much more fast then PL2303...
In DB BOX, we have 2 TPs... FW upgrade works very well.
We have too a 'power pin' that can power a phone... In DB Plus it's better, but in Old DB we have it too...
Well, a box with power connector, 2 tps, 1 serial connection... It's the same hardware from a bb5 unlocker box!
SE market is down now. But bb5 unlock business it's not dead!
I don't like the idea to DB turn a 'chinese' phone box, because DB Team can do more, much more!

BB5 unlocking is still alive, and im sure if they make this BB5 update, it's will not be a FREE UPDATE, u must pay for that service..

A better HW for SmartTP or to replace SmartClip HW...
O lot of people 'dream' with SmartClip USB :)
