Does generic f/w allow use of Orange Unik ?

Can you switch off mobile & use wifi for Unik only like Blackberry ?

For instance in Blackberry the UMA/wifi information is stored independantly of the operating system/firmware so loading firmware from another source still allows mobile off/wifi on Unik calls anywhere in the world - you never roam you just connect to wifi as if you are still in France ;) Saves alot of money going to Orange ;) ;)

Can anyone load the file away from rapidshare.....I'm informed it will be 6 days to download ???

Hi this is my first post and first time trying to unlock a phone. I have lots of PC experience and figure I could try and unlock a phone for my friend.

The model is a Samsung SGH-E251L.

I would appreciate any help on how to unlock it. I have download a couple of programs but they do not contain the model in question.

Can it be done with out having to pay for a box? Can there be a code to input? Or simple some software that i can use and be downloaded.

Hey just joined the forums and thought i would ask for some advice, i live in the uk and am on the O2 network with the U600 phone, i just wondered what firmware would be best for me that would leave the space key where it is, allow me to play games and movies but have all the bug fixes without losing image quality. i ask because i've searched all over the net and am even more confused now. my firmware on the phone now is U600BAYHA1. Love the phone the only thing thats annoying is how you cant use the memory card as default storage so when trying to send things via bluetooth it often says not enough space. btw whats the highest mem card you can have on this phone i have a 2gig one atm. sorry for all the questions but i'm going crazy trying to sort all this out, thanks for you help everyone.

the firmware i have inside is S8000XXIEF and i'd like to change the display and T9 languages : i live in Czech Republic and would find it a lot more comfortable to have my phone in Czech with a Czech T9.

after spending this whole afternoon Googling and then reading through the last pages of this topic, i also resort to writing here. i only found XE (russian) and XX (western europe) firmwares.

I think S8300XX include Czech language, S8300XE its Russian regions... Also for Czech language check branded firmware:
