Hello, I am new to this forum and I have a problem with my daughter's SGH-U600.
A while ago it fell down and the display and cover were broken.
So I let someone change it (he charged €60) and it took a very long time (4 monthq) to get it back.
At least I got it back . The display and touchpad are new but the touchpad doesn't work.The display and numeric keyboard work fine.
I try to contact the repair-man but no response for a few weeks now.
I think he is faking his death because he does not have an answer to the problem.

In this forum I read that I have to flash the phone with new firmware and the synchronise the touchpad with code *#9998*86824#
Since I am a little familiar with flashing my own Samsung i900 Omnia , I thought ,let's give it a try.
But where do I find the correct Firmware?

I am from France, I have got a F480T telstra from Australia. I needed to flash it to get the french language so I tried to flash it with f480xxD7 firmware, it appears that there is no compatibility between F480 and F480T since the flashing result was a black screen phone ( the phone allowed to enter in download mode anyway) I reflash it with a nspro support firmware but unfortunately it does not integer french. So is there someone who have a F480T firmware with french or another solution.

I want to flash a Samsung j400 and a M310 to use it in western-europe (Switzerland) with the french language.

For the j400, I already tried with the j400XEHC1, j400XEGL1 and j400XDHG1 (using BCM2133_Downloader_v1_1_61_C) and for the M310, I tried with the M310XEHE1 and M310XXHE3 (using optiflash).

I done the flash but the network is always lock in the 2 phones. And I can't use my sim card on it.

Please, somebody can help me to find the right flash files for this phones.

Hi, firmware file (flashfile) will depend on your country or languages you want to use. There are several files available for dowload on the Net, and even in this forum. Perhaps I can help you if you post wich langs you need.


For flashing, first install PCStudio soft that comes with phone. It will install the needed cable drivers.

Then, download the flasher (multiloader 5.56):

Now, the flashing guide:

Step One: Preparing the Flash

1. Make sure Samsung PC Studio is installed and communicates with your phone. Also unpack the firmware in a folder you can easily find it.
2. Remove the SIM Card and MicroSD card from your phone and replace the battery.
3. With the phone OFF connect the phone and computer with the USB cable.
4. Depending on the phone, you may either have to press 9 and the Power On button at the same time
or you may have to hold down the volume down, camera and power on button at the same time.
5. Now run MultiLoader v5.56

Step Two: The Flashing Procedure

1. Select the correct radio button
M7600, U900, F480, S8300: MSM6275/MSM6280
S5230: MSM6250/MSM6250A
S8000: LSI6410
2. Select Boot Change
3. Full Download
4. Master rom
5. Then click Boot, and select the boot files from the unpacked firmware folder.
6. Select Amss
7. Select Rsrc1
8. Select Rsrc2 (Pick Low)

9. Select Factory FS (Low).r2c NOT (Mid).r2c. On the JET may there may only be one option (Warning! phone may not restart if you select mid)

***FOTA and ETC fields are left blank.****

10. Click the Port Search button, it will find your phone and show the com port is ready.

11. Click the download button and be patient, this will only take a few minutes to complete.

12. When it's finished, it will show "ok complete".

13. Unplug the phone from the USB cable, reinstall the sim and SD card.

*** NOTE Some models and some will not, if yours does not restart at this point, take out the battery a few seconds then reinsert it. NOTE ***

14. Now with every thing is complete, You can perform a hard reset by typing *2767*3855# into the hand set (but not necessary.)
15. When the phone resets type *#1234# into your handset to check your new firmware ver.

Hi, firmware file (flashfile) will depend on your country or languages you want to use. There are several files available for dowload on the Net, and even in this forum. Perhaps I can help you if you post wich langs you need.


For flashing, first install PCStudio soft that comes with phone. It will install the needed cable drivers.

Then, download the flasher (multiloader 5.56):

Now, the flashing guide:

Step One: Preparing the Flash

1. Make sure Samsung PC Studio is installed and communicates with your phone. Also unpack the firmware in a folder you can easily find it.
2. Remove the SIM Card and MicroSD card from your phone and replace the battery.
3. With the phone OFF connect the phone and computer with the USB cable.
4. Depending on the phone, you may either have to press 9 and the Power On button at the same time
or you may have to hold down the volume down, camera and power on button at the same time.
5. Now run MultiLoader v5.56

Step Two: The Flashing Procedure

1. Select the correct radio button
M7600, U900, F480, S8300: MSM6275/MSM6280
S5230: MSM6250/MSM6250A
S8000: LSI6410
2. Select Boot Change
3. Full Download
4. Master rom
5. Then click Boot, and select the boot files from the unpacked firmware folder.
6. Select Amss
7. Select Rsrc1
8. Select Rsrc2 (Pick Low)

9. Select Factory FS (Low).r2c NOT (Mid).r2c. On the JET may there may only be one option (Warning! phone may not restart if you select mid)

***FOTA and ETC fields are left blank.****

10. Click the Port Search button, it will find your phone and show the com port is ready.

11. Click the download button and be patient, this will only take a few minutes to complete.

12. When it's finished, it will show "ok complete".

13. Unplug the phone from the USB cable, reinstall the sim and SD card.

*** NOTE Some models and some will not, if yours does not restart at this point, take out the battery a few seconds then reinsert it. NOTE ***

14. Now with every thing is complete, You can perform a hard reset by typing *2767*3855# into the hand set (but not necessary.)
15. When the phone resets type *#1234# into your handset to check your new firmware ver.

But I´m sure that you own a M7600L (Latin-American market) and the GSM bands that your unit works are different from European ones. So, flashing your M7600L with a M7600 flashfile will turn your phone in a beautiful (and very expensive) paperweight.
Yes, i realised that, my actual firmware is M7600L+VE+IE1, i need a better one, cause this one its slow and have some errors. I called samsungs Latinamerica but nobody call me back, so, i dont now what to do.
