Hi Guys,

I've just updated an Italian i600, following these steps:

- Download Netherlands/Dutch update from Samsung
- Update the i600 to s/w i600XXGD1 if not already with that version
- Change the pre-settings to dutch version:

Enter in the "Admin setting" menu:
*#1546792*#

Enter in the "Preconfiguration" menu:
Operator Code *#81230*#

- select "Netherlands", the phone will reboot a couple of times

- run the "i600UXXupdater.exe" and follow the instructions.

Then, if you need to change your Country / Operator, you need to perform the "Admin" procedure again.


Since WM6 uses a larger memory partition, I suppose that the first boot code modifies the partition before upgrading the phone with the proper WM6.

I also think that the s/w version is one for all the country, since xx means generic Europe. "U" is surely referred to the WM6 sersion of the i600.

This procedure is VALID for any other languages.......hope this helps,

I see that you are providing free flashes and passes to samsung firmware.I wonder if you can help at all. I have a samsung D900 B and require firmware for the swedish language as well as english. I think the area codes for this are D900CG, D900BW or D900XX though I am sure you'd know for sure.
Also my phone is branded to O2 and wondered how to get shot of that too.
I understand I am going to need a flash cable and NOT the data cable that came wih the phone.

I got the same problem. My phone is U700V i flashed it with u700 firmware and sensor keys stoped work. Then I reflashed back to U700 BUGE7 but sensor keys still dont works please help! thanks

however, should i update to GD1 first, before upgrading to GG2, or is it better to leave it at GC2.
