Attention. Just found out why the BV firmware couldn't get written into the phone. It's because my Samsung SGH-Z240 phone is made in Asia, so the BV firmware files which are made in Europe CANNOT be written into the phone.

So, I need Z240DXGG1, I do not know if this is the latest Asian version, but I will be glad if anyone here can help me with this.

So, I need Z240DXGG1, I do not know if this is the latest Asian version, but I will be glad if anyone here can help me with this.

Forget it. I don't want the Asian firmware versions, so please give me Z240BVGG4 instead.
As my phone is an asian phone, firmware made in Europe cannot be flashed into it. So I will need the latest european firmware in Optiflash format (.sre). Then I can use the 'Erase Unused regions' function to wipe my phone before flashing the european firmware.

I need the firmaware of a Samsung SGH-Z630Brew cellphone, SW ver Z630BAIFK4. I saw that I'm not the only one who requested the Z630 firmaware that's why I wanted to came again with this request.
Before I subscribed here I surfed a lot on the internet to find out smth about it but the only thing I found was the firmware for Tim (http://rapidshare.com/files/6204693/Z630AIFJ3_FJ8.rar.html) that i already have on my cell but i want it no brand.
I succed making my Samsung U700 no brand and is looking so great now, that why I'm trying with Sambung SGH-Z630. I hope that you can help me with it if not i'm thanking you for trying.

OK, I got OptiFlash and successfully connected to my D807. But I'm getting the following error:

Somewhat answers my question. I have a samsung T629 with Tmobile carrier T629UVFL2 firmware, WinVISTA posted T629UVFL2 firmware will this be of any benefit to flash my phone with his firmware or will there be no difference between his firmware and the carriers firmware. I'm confused because when he says original files does that mean samsung's original firmware or carriers original firmware.

i have tried to download i600XXGA2 firmware from this thread and it is virtually impossible for me to download it from rapidshare as I am in South Africa, I have asked Magic Mickey to please send me the rom via e-mail but to no avail, so please if you can post it somewhere I can download it other than rapidshare, and if you do please give the passwords and details as well.

After upgrading my Samsung i600XXGD1 to I600XXGG2 my bluetooth handsfree headset does not pick up the call when calling a number but instead the handsfree icon that looks like a headset dissapears from the screen and the call can be heard on the phone itself, not the headset

conclution:

Samsung H200 Headset pairs with Samsung SGH-i600 but does not switch to handsfree when a call is placed after u upgrade to WM6 via the samsung website

so I want to format my phone, install i600XXGA2 and then do the upgrade and see what happens, so i600XXGA2 PLEEEEEEAAAAASSEEE!!!!! :D

My Samsung SGH-i600 is not working with Samsung H200 Headset after flashing WM6 Update (i600UXXGG2) from WM5 (i600XXGA2) - I have tried updating to WM6 after installing these firmwares first,(i600JCGC4)[was my first factory loaded firmware[[ South African Market]] ] and i600XXGD1, as well, but have the same problem, seems there is a huge BUG in the WM6 update.

So if someone can direct me to a thread where I can get help to solve this, or someone can maybe upload a working WM6 Flash (@winVista) I would appreciate it very very much.

Guys do you have firmware for X540, please upload it for me i have a unit i use to flash with ust now it stops at 94% and now hang only and shutdown automaticaly...Ust has do nothing to answer this bugs from their software...

what cable i should use when trying to flash the file your going to gave me

edit: oh yeah, they are in .bin format so you will probably need to convert them to .s3/.sre, so use mot2bin or samsung diy to do that.

Excuse me.. this firmware for Samsung SGH-C520:
- has a full support for Italian language (menu indications + T9 writings)?
- which country is made for?
- has a heavy or a light branding (in this case, which mobile operator?).. or this is a no brand one?
