here is a quick and simple way to sign your apps

1, make a new batch file
2, open the batch file for editing
3, type this section into the batch file

e.g.

@echo off
cls
signsis 'Name of the unsigned sis' 'Name of the signed sis' 'cert_key.cer' 'Product_ID_key.key' 'password'

or just type this into your batch file and away you go!

@echo off
cls
signsis Route66.Mobile.v7.3.486.N95_unsigned.sis Route66.Mobile.v7.3.486.N95_signed.sis XXXXXX.cer sultan.key 0123456
pause

p.s. just make sure this batch files goes in the same folder as the signsis.exe and the route 66.sis

Strange i generated a csr on Vista without any problems,
maybe it's the key file used (try downloading or redownloading sultan.key )
And remember to use 0123456 as your password...

Hi,

First you need a tool to create a request - The Program you can get from here: https://www.symbiansigned.com/DevCertRequest_30_10_2006_v2.0.exe. After generating the request, login at symbiansigned.com, and go to My Symbian Signed -> Developer Certificates -> Request and upload your generated .csr file and you will get your certificate.

More Information for generating the request:
In the DevCertRequest Program:

1. Under "Specify name of the output file:" enter any name, you may even put in your name. Click Next
2. Under ACS Pub ID available, change the radio button to No
3. The Public Key file section will now be available. Click the button (...) next to it and select the sultan.key in the attachment
4. Enter the Private keyfile password which is 0123456. Click Next
5. Enter the mandatory country, state and company. You can put your name under Company if you like. Click Next
6. Under IMEI(s), click the (...) button again and enter your mobile IMEI, then click Add, and OK
7. Next make sure all the items in the Application Capabilities are highlighted, click the Add button and then Click Next
8. Your Certificate is now created. You need to upload the certificate back to the Symbian Signed website to change from .csr to .cer.


And please don't write with capital, in Internet it's equivalent to yelling

Hi,

you have to specify your own name for the .key file, the .key file will be generated. You need this .key file afterwards when signing the application.

hey dude.

i also had this problem but what i did is install the program and then, using the same certificate that you used to sign the program, use that certificate to sign the crack also.

then try installing the "signed crack". it should work. it did for me

aite i will do it for u but b4 i do lemme tell u smthin...this version is totally ****...its official release for n95 but i hve tested it on my phone it runs very slow for sum reason not onli tht it takes much longer to lock on the settelite than the version i signed fore u.....n i installed bck to the previous version...there is no difference watsoever n both version so its up to u...if u still want it lemme knw i will do it.

are you stupid what do want signing where is it please be more detailed when asking for things

1. Give the app name and version, build number
2. maby provide a download link so people dont get confused and you know they are signing the right app
