Once you have installed the application, you will find the Route66
icon in the 'applications' folder. Just run it and when asked to activate make sure you activate through internet and apply any 16 digits.

As far as i know you cant install speedcams or customs POI's on r66 but i am not sure. check on the thread tomtom and route66 problems solved here thread and bumobiles might be able to help.

Hi guys in this forum.

i am making cert files for people but wanted to give you some info about them.

a) a certificate allows you to "test" a piece of software on a phone and only the phone with the correct imei number with it. (so you cannot use on a different phone) this mainly done by developers to test software before the author signs it ready for any phone.

b) certificates have an expiry date of one year from when it was made

c) certificates must then be attached to the software by using signing tools.

d) you can use the certificate for any application for your phone, it is not a use once only file, so this means you can still sign other programs using the same certificate.

I am trying to keep up with the number of certificates that need to be made so please be patient!!!

please try to keep your requests to one imei and not multiple ones as i can only make five per day. i want to try and help many people and not just one.

Also please post replys if you no longer require a certificate as i have seen that people request in multiple threads and then do not say that they have received one and this just takes up someone elses cert file request.

these steps will help me to help you.

Hi guys!!! i have just opened an account with megaupload and i will try to now sign apps. please remember that if i sign route66 for n95 it will be the latest version (v7.3.545). you can still request your certificates as they are quicker than signing the apps. Hi guys. me again.

i have a solution for my problem.

what i have done is attached the signing tools for signing your own applications.

this is what you need to to do. follow step by step:

a) unrar the file
b) put all files into a new folder ( this means signsis, signand the sultan key)
c) put your application and your certificate in the fiolder as well.
d) double click signsis, very simply click browse and find the application
e) then find the certificate (should all be in the same file)
f) find sultan.key and the password is 0123456
g) press sign it and you have your signed program.

so what i would say is to download the tools and just request a certificate here that way you can sign your own programs. hope this helps

the signing tools are on page 97 and post number #1446. (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=2661471&postcount=1446) click the link number to go straight there.
they are very easy to use compared to the old way we used to do it using batch files!!! it also saves having to upload them to a upload site which takes forever.

download them and then all you need is your certificate to sign any application to your phone.

if you downloaded my tools then make sure you have done the following,

put sign, signsis and the sultan key, your application and your certificate in the SAME folder. then double click signsis and make sure the password is 0123456. it should work with no probs. what operating system are you using?? hope this helps

When you have the cert file for your phones imei then yes you can sign unsigned programs to your phone.

just remember that you have one year until the certificate expires. more info on certs are on my posts a few pages back.

i really dont know why it doesnt work on your pc as it works on most others. try updating through windows update and make sure that you install all updates including frameworks.

if not then i can sign skycaller pro for you and post when ready. just watch out for your name. hope thats ok
