Hi guys,
i saw on the tomtom homepage that map version 6.75 (DACH and western europe) is available. Anyone here who has that version? Good/bad?
By the way, what is the newest version of the tomtom navigator programm (for pda) ?

Saw it too. But not only DACH and Western Europe.
All maps are updated to 6.75 also USA :)
Lets find them and post it here.
It looks that the map 6.75 is only for the Tomtom Navigator 6 and will not work for people that use the old version of Tomtom (5.2) like me (Qtek 8300). There the 6.6 version is still the latest one.

There are some versions that are not cracked so this is the perfect tool to activate maps when useing clean software.

Hi All
I have had problems before when trying to get Tom Tom tp work on my N73 and had to get the guam map on my phone to get the GB map working ( with lots of help ), as I could not get the keygen to work :confused:
I am now having the same problem with the new GB map:mad:, I put it on my phone and it needs the code, now this is where my problems strat as I still cant get the keygen to work.
Could someone make the code for me please if I give them my code or are all the codes in the file I have seen ( crossing fingers it is :) )
Any one has link to Singapore map?

I have downloaded a couple of maps and managed to get them on my SD card. I have a tomtom one V2 and am using a Mac running OS 10.4. I cannot figure out how to actvate the maps. I cannot find a keygen generator that will work with my mac. They are all exe. files and I have non-intel mac -- so no windows.
I am living in Hungary and want to get the PL_HU_CZ_SL map working as well as replace the USA Canada map in my TOMTOM with a Western and Central Europe Map. I tried loading the Eastern Europe map onto the SD card and then starting the tomtom. It gave me an ID AXKAA CAHRS and then sent me to the tomtom site to get my activation. What I guess i need is a way to get the activation codes for maps I download. Any ideas out there?

Just decompres first part (or any individual part for that matter) and program will find the other parts. So if you have done all three than you will three exastly same files. You can delete two of them. The files are posted in parts because file share sites ( RapidShare) will only allow files up to 100MB.

You need all thre parts of the rar file!!! If you have WinRar than just right click on one of the three (or more ) parts of the rar file and click on extract here or to where ever and you will get just one file from all three parts of rar file. So you only do this once on one of the parts of a rar files.
For examle:
If you have three files called TT6Maps.part1.rar, TT6Maps.part2.rar and TT6Maps.part3.rar.
All you need to do is extract one of them because WinRar will detect other parts and extract to one file or folder in this case it would be TT6Maps folder.

I live in Sheffield UK, a school was rebuilt 3 YEARS AGO but this LATEST map still tells me to turn off a roundabout and go up a road but this school is in the way and the road no longer exists !!!!
As said elswhere in this thread I'd be rather p***ed off if I'd forked out my hard earned cash for this.
@firestorm: the best way to complain about old versions of a map is not here in this forum (because nobody can help you...) but there is a possibility to report wrong maps, new streets etc. directly to Teleatlas (they produce the maps for eg tomtom, google.maps etc.):

I did that myself, because I'm missing the street I'm living in. (was build 5-6 years ago!). The reports are supposed to take effect in a couple of months within a new map release.

Hi, i downloaded both parts of 6.60.1223, extracted to a folder, then copy / pasted them onto the sd card in the map folder, which overwrote some files as you would expect, the maps are there ok because i now have ireland coverage but the version still says 6.575. (im using tomtom 510).
Any ideas anybody ?

Taking a quick glance at the 6.75 US/Canada maps. They seem to have significantly less POIs. In contrast the 6.60 maps had POIs for Doctors and Dentists which the 6.75 maps lack among other things.
Can anyone confirm if these new 675 maps are Teleatlas or Navteq? I know the 660 USA ones were Navteq.

Same problem here: UK and Ireland 660.1256 map seems to have more detailed road coverage than the newer 675.1409.

Yeah im from Manchester and i had the 6.60 map (Navteq), now that i have updated to 6.75 (teleatlas), there are alot of differences (a roundabout that was changed to a T junction a few years back is on 6.75 but was correctly changed in 6.60), I think the navteq maps are more up to date so i think i will change back to 6.60 untill navteq release a new Tomtom map.
Does anybody know if Navteq will be releasing a new Tomtom Map??????

I downloaded 'western europe' to put on my tomtom. It's to replace my old western europe map. When i put it onto my tomtom though it does not recognised the map. In the 'select map' option only my canary islands map is visable. what am i doing wrong? I delete the old europe folder and then placed the new one onto my tomtom - didnt work. So i tried adding the downloaded new western europe files into my old western europe folder to replace ones that match when copied over. Still didnt work. What am I doing wrong?!?!?

If I do it on TOMTOM HOME it works fine, coz I can put the spaces in...but I cant do that on the TOMTOM, just wondering how I can get round this?

I have the newest version of tomtom and I've installed the latest version of US & Canada Map and it's working fine. My only question is do I have to activate the map still cause all I did was delete the previous map from my E:/ drive and replaced it with the newer one. It never asked me for the activation keys or to activate the newer map. And how do I update the map in the future and is it possible to use the tomtom plus features without purchasing it.

I have never seen TomTom Turkey map as yet. If you need it and have PDA or PNA tha you can use iGO or MioMap ( they use same maps ). There are few posts on this forum if you want any of them.

Sick to 660.1199. A lot of people are saying that the 675 maps are not up to date as 660.1199 for Uk and 660.1256 (Navteq) for Western Europe.

Tip 1: Make sure that the .mid file has exactly the same name as the map folder so if the map folder is USA_Canada than the mid file shlould be USA_Canada.mid. I have not actualy tried this but i read it somwhere that it helped.
Tip2: Try entering codes with and without spaces both ways ( all 4 combinations )
Tip3: make sure you are using exact mid file copied from the map you are using.
These are the once i read about or tried myself.2 and 3 I tried but not sure which one worked but it did on TT 510.

Have anyone heard about the news maps from Navteq?
Its seems there is a new map Iberia 675.1430 Navteq and a new Western Europe 675.1322 Navteq.
Both maps are from RomTom Rider 2, but they work with any normal pocket pc with TomTom 6.

Try this one in attach, put on same folder keygen.exe and file yourmap.mid
open a dos window and tape the 2 files at request code put with CAPITAL letter your code then will receive your key
if you have prob give me the file .mid of your map and I'll give you code

Never find single Greek Map, You need Eastern Europe Map v6.08 for TT5,
but can you use Route 66 with Greek map and Athens Map.

I tried this map with TT5 and TT6 for Palm OS and it worked, but I think it is not an official release (Take a look at copyright information :eek:).
I was not able to achieve usable routing results in Bratislava (Slovakia; e.g. u-turn on a motorway!) and Zákynthos (Greece; completely wrong distances).
In my opinion this map is in very early beta state ...

Device code is AK3SN AAPTE
All the keygens give the same activation code: G2PZNURA2NL2DJQ,
but TomTom One doesn't accept the code.:confused:
Is there someone who generate another activation code with Device code AKSN AAPTE using Western_Europe v.660.1256?

Try downloading again. Noirmaly rar program will tell you which part is corrupted so you only need to download that one. Put the whole map folder to to root of your card.

Is there a way to do this, and then how do I go about getting the free Europe 6.75 maps and installing them on the new card. Is there anything else I should know before going about trying to get a new Sim Card for my machine?

Backup your device to you PC using TomTom Home. Disconect it and insert bigger card. Reconect and restore from your PC. You can than copy new maps to the root of your card but you will need keygen for maps to activate them. There are plenty of links for that here. Be careful about the card size because it might not read high apacity cards.

There is no Greece map for TomTom on its own. The only one that contains Greece is PL-CZ-SK-HU-GR-TR-RU. If you mainly need ggreece switch to iGO or MioMap. There are few posts around here.

They will work with TomTom 6 only so if you have TomTom 6 on your nokia the maps are all the same ( except slight difference for Rider).You may need a keygen to activate it.

It should work with any TT6. Just copy the map to the root of your card. You may need keygen to activate it if you don't have cracked program.

There is the "new" 680 above but that is just as bad as the 608 for your part of the world. If you have PDA or PDA phone than you will be better of switching to iGo or MioMap. They have much better maps for that part of Europe.

The map is like "PLUS" version of the EasternEurope 6.80.1466
So it Includes Major roads in Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania.... And major roads in Austria.
I Just downloaded Mr. dariusz-s New U.S. Map version 675.1409
Please anybody help me to install them on my new tomtom 910.
I got to the point to connect the 4 files together...what do I do next?

If you have PDA phone than you will be better off with MioMap or iGo. They have much better maps for all former YU countries including Serbia.
There are few threads with both programs and maps.

You need to copy map folder to the root of your card but you eill need the keygen to use it. Here it is:

Sample to keygen:
1)make a folder in C:\ to make it easier, call it keygen.
2)Put your .mid file of the map you want to activate in there and the keygen.exe file in there.
3)Now open command prompt "Start-Run-cmd"
4)Then type as follows: cd C:\ Exactly als written here [Press Enter]
5)now you will have C:\> in command prompt.
6)Then type: cd keygen : You will then see c:\keygen>
7) Then type : keygen.exe North_america.mid :
Don't forget the space between .exe and North.
8)then put in your device ID (tomtom gives it when you manually activate) and then press enter.
9) you get activation codes for all kind of devices
Put the activation code to your device and press : activate

I have put the new maps in the root directory of the Tomtom 910 already...But when I turn the device on it could not recognized the new map. Where do I put the activation code? Thanks.

To use keygen the easy way:
1) Make a folder anywhere call it what ever you want.
2) Put your .mid file of the map you want to activate in there and the keygen.exe file in there.
3) Now open click Start /Run and type cmd then enter
4) Now drag the keygen.exe into the command box then press spacebar then drag .mid file into command box
5) Press enter then put your device ID using Caps
6) Then hit enter and your activation code is generated
7) Then type put the activation code to your device and press activate
Note sometimes you have to go select the map in your TomTom menu to get to the activation stage

I tried to search for the map in Tomtom device but It could not see the new map for activation. The new map can be seen in the Tomtom Application programs in the computer. Thanks.

hungb54, it is possible, that you use "incompatible" keygenerator.
So try another one...

I tried the program on as fast as I could....nice program; however, spit out the same code. I am trying to download another map and activate again. I will keep you update. Many Thanks gain.
I download new map from thephonejunky....and installed it...works like a charm. didn't need code to activate! Mr. Darzuis map has a problem. Thanks for your help.

Mark all files, unrar them in one map, than connect device to the computer, copy to the root of device beside other maps you have in, Probably you will need the activaction.

The map im using is the usa and canada map version 675_1409. So it says anyways downloaded it from torrent site! I have tryed a few keygens for this map but have had no luck!
