hi,

if you want the phone to work in US (850/1900) put resistor in R143
if you want the phone to work in EUR (900/1800) put the resistor in R144

Hi,Not working Band change is not applicable even you move the resistor from R143 to R144 nothing change,even i flash the unit with euro version,,,because all of the 3 terminal are all in ground coonection...

i don't have any unit to modify/convert, i post this for a reference and i'ts based on schematic.

if i have one, i'll try to post result also.

i Have nothing against with your conversion,you said it is base on schematics...what i have told you is youre first post. regarding band changing of C261...by moving resistors from 144 to 143...wont work, in the real c261 motherboard (tracfone,Tmobile,Xingular)all of the contacts connecting R144,R143 are all connected to the ground..and again you said it is base on the diagram...yes also...because i already Try your modifications..wont work still 850/1900mhz..so i read also the schematics and found out by moving R113 to R114 is the one will change the freq.from 850/1900 to 900/1800...i,ve already done that 3 days ago.but i decided to give it to our fellow filipinos..then i saw your post about the additional info regarding c261 band change...and i quote and i said the first is not working R144 to R143 but your second one is working R113 to R114...of course you must change the filters,either jumper wire or capacitor...there is no big deal here...Thanks also to youre Idea...Peace......
