Yes Bro! It really does matters!
If someone is going to make it RUIM from Non-RUIM, then it is possible.
But as akhileshbaghel says:
"who need to convert into sim"
then he should know that they can't use SIM as SIM could be used only is GSM enabled sets.
No CDMA Phones could be converted into GSM.
