Not working, U890 work only with 128k & U300 work with 64 & 128k Sim card.

I think this solution only work with 128k simcard.
if u flash code (amss modem) italian 10h it will work with 64h otherwise only 128k
I have 7 sim with 4 deffirant network and all not work

Dear If you are From Pakistan then There is No 128K Sim There...
yes it's true but our firmware if flashed with 10h code will work with 64k and in pakistan you have 64k :D

as media file u can use or a edited media with your phone country code or one of the available media for u300 is the same the most important thing is that you need a correct media file for your phone nation

after rebooting i try change original sim witch 128 kb sim, now phone deat, i had hold down 2+5 and power start flashin but write error message.

reboot your pc and retry to flash in emergencymode if still nand write than u have a different flash like u900v11 so u get this error... but to be sure reboot pc and retry to flash

This temporary unlock method for the U300 is no where enar as good as the U880 temporary unlock solution.
Yes it does work but its a pain in the backside each time you switch the handset off.
Plus you also loose a few usefull features of the u300 like the unit converter and also 3player direct button access (in between the video call key and menu key)
My advice is don't use this temporary unlock solution.
Can some one here please be kind enough to post all 3 binary files for the U300:
CODE (not the patched version)
MUSER (Modem ASSM binary file)
Media File
so I can do a complete EFS to get the handset working the right way again ...
thaty would be so great if someone could do that.

Just a quick question:
Did LG changed the USIM_Locked.paf file in the module for the U890 and U300 after the U880 temporary unlock solution was made?
Because that would be strange as the U890 was availiable on sale just a few months after the u880 and at that time their was no temporary unlock solution for the U880 (that was between Feb 2006 to June 2006)
kller do you know what the service code for the U300 is to enter the test mode?

Also I would like to add that in Australia there are now over 2,000 U880 temporary unlocked via the "fixed by kller" patched module binary file and making availiable the LG 3G qualcomm download flasher.
My team over at our Austech forums sub forum "mobiles" all say thanks for the making this temporary solution free for everyone.
It was so sccessfull that Hutchinson Three Australia have stopped selling the LG U880 due to the temporary unlock solution as they were selling them prepaid for $299 AUD ...
Everyday we still get people asking how to unlock this phone as they have seen their friends with unlocked U880's.
We also get requests for the u890 (not many because this handset is not on prepaid via Three here) and now for the U300 because here its on prepaid for $169 AUD complete with 128MB MicroSD card.
I tried the temporary unlock solution for the U300, but as I said, its simply to hard to be fast enough to change from Three USIM to other SIM when you enter the unit converter and force the handset to reboot.
That said, it does work but does kill 3 main features of the handset:
Unit Converter
3 Player (Java based MP3 player) direct access button (in between video Calling key and Menu key)
Have more than than 1 Access Point and more than 1 Browser profile (I think this can be bypassed in the test menu to use more than 1 broswer profile and 1 access point.

This is Temp Solution so When you,ll Change sim etc then You need to Do Some steps Again to Unlock it...It Don,t need to Flash Again but Still need to Attatch cable then do Sim Change process...But if You,ll Use Diode Then You don,t need to Plug Cable Again and Again You Can Do Sim Change process without Cable...;)

phone should reboot and while displayed 3 logo you can remove battery and change original sim with a 128k sim without pin (you should be very quick)
no result. allways stay and freez 3 logo and nothink.......................
