u can use pdb files if u have MobiSystems.MSDict.Viewer.UIQ3
infact u can use these pdb files on any mobile , just install supported MobiSystems.MSDict.Viewer and place these pdb files in path as told

IT HAS TO WORK BECAUSE ITS WORKING AND TESTED ON LOTS OF CELL PHONES , IF U NOT GETTING THAT AND IF ITS NOT WORKING WITH UR CELL , U DOING SOMETHING WRONG DUDE, DO IT PROPERLY , ITS WORKING AND MEMBER OF MORE THAN 30 FORUMS SHARING IT AND USING

I think we have to use the MSDict Viewer ver.2.x to open these files, other versions like 3.x could not do.

hey dude I installed the thing but at the no active thing i see nothing.. Am I supposed to put the Pdb files in my memory card or the phones memory?

Hi Everyone, great board :)! I have a P910i: I downloaded the dic & files; installed msdict viewer but ConciseEng.sis won't install, I get an error message: software not compatible with phone! Any suggestions? Thanks

ok, did a little lateral thinking and installed the cracked MSdict viewer but downloaded and installed conciseeng trial version. the register button is greyed out which suggests that this method works or will the trial expire?

Hi, there :)

You were right about the "ConciseEnglish.sis" file. It really won't install at all. However, you've actually solved the problem now. I too have tested it and it works very well. The best solution to this is to go to www.mobile-systems.com (http://www.mobile-systems.com) and download as many UIQ (P800, P900 or P910i) dictionaries as you like and then install them all. After you are done, simply install the "MSDict Viewer 2.40 by SymPDA" which is included in the .zip file and overwrite the previous one (currently v 2.70). This will premanently register all your dictionaries. Of course you can also use the .pdb dictionaries, but there are many others to be found at the official Mobi-Systems site, e.g. the American-English Dictionary or the Advanced Learner's Dictionary.;)

I was quite chuffed to discover this ridiculously easy solution as I had a frustrating weekend googling, scouring this and other boards in vain for a working solution for this app! Curiously, I found no reported problems installing the ConciseEng.sis file - so I spent eons in/uninstalling, re-booting, re-setting, trying various file transfer methods and directories; convinced that I was doing something wrong! Glad I helped someone to avoid the headache. :)
