I am trying to debrand my Orange branded w950i.

I did the KulanKendi bit ok, added the new cda, did reset.

Was updating the software with SE update tool, and it got to about 90% when my pc froze.

Had to restart the computer ( i waited about 10 minutes after it froze), now when i try to turn on the phone the keyboard lights up and the screen lights up, but shows nothing.

Tried to update the software again, and the software recognises the phone, and realises that its geneeric world 1 etc, but then says there are no updates available.

Any ideas how to get the phone working again? ive already ordered another credit, just waiting for it to arrive in my inbox!

CDA was 162017/2-r1a21
after running kk, also showed 162014/1 r1a21

Any Ideas?

Can i change CDA to 162014/2 (world generic 2?) to make it update the software again?

yep.. unfortunately, change CDA to something else and reflash.
perhaps once you have the phone running again, change back to Generic 1.

cost you a couple of credits, but you are lucky your phone still might work!!
my m600 was unrecoverable from a very similar incident.

U need wait for finish my testing with sw ver change in GDFS, it will allow to flash phone. I need first to test it with one user, after will out update

> User Data Window:

Hold 'C' or '@' (some PDA) key and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Detected: DB2000: P990i,M600i,W950i Series
Connecting to server...
Phone IMEI:35286301-******-4 (the numbers were there but i took them out)
Color: Red ; OTP CID: 49
EROM CID:49
Phone Model:????

Error: Read Flash ID

If you want i can test the software on this phone, just give me instructions!

Looks like some data erased from GDFS...
Let me finish some things and will work on do some GDFS restore of missing data.
