Member: 254354 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Mysterious cables and BB5 unlocking But when i was ordering the cable i realise that this must be wrong because DKU-5 or CA-42 isnīt supported for all BB5 phones: 3100 / 3120 / 3200 / 3220 / 5100 / 5140 / 5140i / 6020 / 6021 / 6070 / 6100 / 6101 / 6103 / 6220 / 6610 / 6610i / 6800 / 6810 / 6820 / 6822 / 7200 / 7210 / 7250 / 7250i / 7260 / 7360 - CA-42 USB Pop Port Nokia 3100 / 3120 / 3200 / 3220 / 5100 / 5140 / 5140i / 6020 / 6021 / 6070 / 6100 / 6101 / 6103 / 6220 / 6610 / 6610i / 6800 / 6810 / 6820 / 6822 / 7200 / 7210 / 7250 / 7250i / 7260 / 7360 - DKU-5 USB DKU-2 Nokia 3230, 3250, 3300, 5300, 5500, 6070, 6085, 6103, 6111, 6125, 6131, 6136, 6151, 6170, 6230, 6230i, 6233, 6234, 6260, 6270, 6280, 6288, 6630, 6650, 6670, 6680, 6681, 7270, 7370, 7373, 7390, 7600, 7610, 7700, 771 CA-53 Nokia 3230, 3250, 3300, 6103, 6111, 6170, 6230, 6230i, 6260, 6270, 6280, 6630, 6650, 6670, 6680, 6681, 7270, 7370, 7600, 7610, 7700, 7710, 9300, 9300i, 9500, E60, E61, E70, N70, N71, N80, N90, N92 - USB Pop Port If im correct CA-53 cable would be the right one, because it supports more BB5 models then DKU-5? And one more thing, Dejan wrote: Logger works for BB5 with rap3g v2.11 to v2.20 Then tell me exactly what models RAPxxx works with, because i saw a list of phones that would be able to unlock with Dejans tool, but im curious if that means N95 RAPIDO v1.11 PA, N93i CEBBO2P , E62 RAPGSM v1.1 PA or are they different? Please inform me and i will understand. |

Member: 53791 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | Hi It's not about what cables support what phone because this is only support for normal operation like send files and ringtones and stuff. ca42 + DKU-5 has usb <-> serial chip inside and emulates a serial port. DKU-2 and CA 53 does not include usb chip but rather uses the phones own usb connectivity. DKU-2 and CA-53 are identical, only difference is that CA-53 is made from RoHS compliant material (No lead in the components or solder). You MUST have DKU-5, CA-42 cable or some sort of cable that will be able to talk to the phones F-BUS thru a serial communication link. Twisterfan |

Member: 44625 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 36 | @codehunter The free BB5 unlock solution by Dejan only supports nokia 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682, n 70 and n90. Just use the DKU-5 cable. Dejan is one of the most respected unlock solution designers for nokia phones. Many have tested his solution. Just as the manufacturers don't want you to unlock the phones by yourself, its possible to use DKU-5 for unlocking, thanks to Dejan's showing us how. Trion |

Member: 303976 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | What am i doing wrong ?????? Hi All. I have got a Profilic DKU5 data cable for Nokia N70. My problem is the unlocking software can read my phone . All the three lines. But when i try to make logs or try to backup my phone. I get the errors. I've posted the error pics. Please take a looks and advise. I also saw someone talking in the forum to use the com-serial port as a alcatel ta modem port. Could anyone shed more light on it. I hope everyone using the cable were successful using the sofware, I tried to do this in Windows XP. Anyone else know any tricks to do with DKU5. I am not using any boxes like JAF or MT. So please dont advise o using these bixes. Thanks Amit |
