View Full Version : V3i - Mic & Speaker mute - Rear speaker ok
Hello!
I have a water damaged V3i that works fine after cleaning it - except the microphone and flap speaker. The rear speaker is ok - you hear ringtones and voice of partner when calling in handsfree mode. The keypad flex incl. microphone has already been replaced by a brand new one.
Found a thread that says the answer is somewhere out in this forum, but i can't find it. Any help appreciated!

just noticed the earpiece speaker is not completely mute but very, very quiet...

Please anybody - any idea what to check/replace?
Is it possible that the speaker affects the mic?
I remember that in the Nok 3310 and severals model u can fix this kind of damaged whit the remplace of cristal clock , maybe remplace this device can fix ur trouble . just is a suspicius , i whish u luck .

remove usb connector then test sound
Removed USB connector - nothing changed. Thx anyways!
Also uploaded stock and modded gain/param tables.
I don't think the RTC/oscillator is broken as everything else works.
Any other suggestions?

i have the same problem
i cant hear from the ear peace
but i can hear from speaker
i change the ear peace and the same
chane flat cable and the same
even the LCD and the same !!!!!!!
