View Full Version : CDA changed, but SEUS can't work, why?
My friend bought a w950i/8, but have some problem, return to dealer and flashed w958c FS(maybe used SETools). P.S.: CDA is CDA162014/8
he bought 1 credit and flashed the phone, because the phone can't use update service
SEUS still can't update like show "No New Update" message after flash
open phone, see the CDA is change to "CDA162017/48 R4A09", why ?
By the way, SEUS read the phone and show W958c Model, he want update to version R9F how can do it ?
used by kkclient v1.54
open the phone, System Manager show Model is w958c

looks like flashed to any china firmware.
SEUS is sensitive for CDA numbers and even if for some users will show existsing update then for other group of users will show "no new update".
Problems can be:
1. Wroten CDA are incorrect
2. Wroten CDA are correct but SUES not have it at database for end-users
if it's possible then change CDA to World Generic 1

more than 4 peoples flashed phone but can't update used by v1.54
in v1.53 never had this problem

don't bother, SEUS will never allow to flash w958c to W950i.
It check IMEI and CDA and will always show "no updates available"

I changed it to HK(/48), but SEUS can not do work now
how can i do it? change it to /2 update then change it to /48 update again?

as I do some test with one guy, result was that SEUS don't allow to make some combinations EU<>CHINA for some phones, don't know why

R6A01 and R6A15 is very different, so I think SEUS can not sure how to update the phone

I met the same problem.
My original CDA is 162014/6 R4B01. I would like to change to Hong Kong version: CDA162017/48
I bought 1 credit and flashed the phone, now I have two CDA display on my phone:
PDA version:
CXC162101 R4B01
Phone version:
CXC162037 R9EB001
Bluetooth version:
CXC162058 R3A01
CDA version:
CDA162017/48 R4B01
CDA162014/6 R4B01
But SEUS still can't update like show "No New Update" message, of course "No" continue anyway button for me to press.
Do I need to format the internal memory before go to SEUS to upgrade??? By the way, could you tell me 162014/6 belongs to which country?:confused:
