View Full Version : Prada can't power up by flashing
prada died by flashing. lots error comes when flashing (same error). my PC is chinese language system, errors means address unavaivable( 句柄无效)..when i press OK, the software keep writting flashes, but always stop automaticly, phone can't power up,but can be flashed again, and stops again http://www.gsmhosting.com/ubb/frown.gif i've noticed the errors comes with different address each time flashing.
when flashing, the box Fbus,POWER,5V keep lighting. and TX keep flashing. other light never light even flash. did i make right settings?(check pics plz)
could anyone successful flashed Prada give me right procedure for flashing KE phones plz? and what settings for software and box?
I did search, but can't find nothing about this issue.

Try flash by lower speed. and check if battery is charged.

Allso i suggest to increase virtual memory to 2GB !

i'll try to install english WindowsXP and try again. hope can fix it.i'll post result later
BTW:i've tried another computer,with about 8G virtual memory ,2G DDR2 667 RAM, DualCore 1.66。 same result.

Also new KE module released. Can try but i think pbs come from ur chinesse pc. Also be sure battery charged on phone.

brand new english XP system ,..2G virtual memory .lastest KE tool version .A brand new KE850 .same results on READ FLASH :( this happened on the died ke850. so i'm scared to flash this one.
changed another KG800 com cable...and another PC cable ( for JAF )...drivers installed smothly. but same results.i'm starting to think box hardware problem or dongle problem. coz system never ask me to install the dongle driver (smart card reader driver),but i can use the software,strange.

Try leave only our box conected on usb and see what happen. Also ur sure FTDI drivers are ones from pur support ?

i did.. same result on laptop and also desktop..i leave only usb mice and the FG BLING BLING on computers.
actualy, it was a brand new system. i've installed the FG only.and didn't connect any other devices to PC.
anyone have this problem aswell ? or only me? i'm that lucky? o.0

i've bought it from phonesclinic, last friday. but untill now i've called all of their phones, all unvaluable. send msg via forum and waiting for reply
untill now. i've send 2 email ... see them on msn 2 times... never get reply...forum message also no reply..
also tel number and customer service email on their webside are still not available.

1) have you mentioned problem with Ke module only or with all furious sw ?
2) which cable you use for ke ?
Actually my opinion is that with your box all is ok , coze sw start and start all procedures. So reason of your pb can be in bad cable "phone - PC".

1) I used KE software only, coz i dont have other supported phones to try. i will try as soon as i have them,anyway.

I M NOT IN UK AT DA MOMENT, DAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE, IF U STILL HAVE PROBLEMS PLZ SEND THE BOX BACK AT THE ADRESS MENTIONED IN UR EMAIL.
UR BOX WD BE REPLACED FREE OF COST VIA NEXT DAY DEL AS SOON AS WE REC THE FAULTY ONE.
CHECK UR EMAIL.

i have same problem on my PC. I use Chinese XP. Both desktop and laptop have same problem.

Tried many Prada on my PC and laptop, Everything goes well. Same use chinese xp.
But flash one Prada cost me 1 hour and 10 minutes by FG with highest speed 921600.

I have had similar problems
flashed with ME850 files (there is a full flash one), then a patched one that allows for unlock
1. flash with ME850 full flash (locked to some provider)
2. flash with ME850 patched flash
3. unlock prada phone
5. flash with desired flash, i used HK flash (with CHT HK and CHT TAIWAN support)
*** IMPORTANT, make sure battery is charged - I use clip charger to manually charge batteries overnight first, using 3.7V +/- alligator clips don't work stable with these LG's ***
worked fine and fixed dead phone which was initially caused by flashing with KE files.

Get readout from working KE970, then reflash to that model.
Works ok !

the phone cant communicat with the furious gold now.

same problem here at last i cant use ftdi i used normal com1 and
every thing is ok untill hack3r2k fix it
the box is fine but it seems like driver problem or somthing
@ hack3r2k try to use multi laguage windows XP may be you face
the same problem we have and then solve our prblem
