How do you open up an LG Chocolate I need to Repair the Flex ?
4 black screws on back
unclip back cover
unclip connectors to lower pcb
unclip one side of main pcb ( top )
unclip main flex connector under main pcb
take off main pcb
unscrew 6 silver screws underneath
lift away lower keypad housing
remove 2 black screw covers up top of slide ( rear )
remove 6 silver screws on slider rear
unclip slide rear housing
unclip flex connector
clean housings where flex touches ( from dust and debris) as it will get damaged easily
clip new one in carefully aligning and firmly pressing in all the way
reverse disassembly procedure
