hello friends,
i have a v630i who not poer on. when i push power on the red led is lighting for few times. i don't know what firmware having on it. in this condition it comes in service, i try to read information from this phone with "2+5 " but....

Hold 'C' or '@' (some PDA) key and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Detected: DB2020 Series
Error: K
Wrong BOOT mode!Be sure that You hold 'C' Key.

if i try with "C" the phone not respond. what can i do with this phone?

be sure that U good pressing 2+5 hey coz they keys are very close to each other and sometimes finger can't push both together(dipend of finger size lol).
If U press 2+5 then windows detect "Sony Ericsson USB Flash" device??

yes, first time when i conect the phone with 2+5 windows was detect "Sony Ericsson USB Flash" device.

so all should work, try it again, clean connector and try, must works.
IF will not work, then use COM interface, it will boot via ROM code

i lost just a credit with this phone. the problem is the phone not power on now. maybe i can flash-it, can power on. maybe will ned to unlock(another credit), etc. too much credits for an unlock.

As I told in one version I do bug what is fixed now, I give back losed credits for peoples who really lose it. So please write me fast PM with:

1. Phone IMEI
2. How many credits U losed(I'll verify it)
3. User name and password(to confirm correct person)

Please do it fast coz 20.06.2007 I'm going to holidays and I'll not avaliable for 8 days.

try COM cable for dead K610, do EROM Update.
If phone will not communicate by COM cable then is hardware problem.
If U do EROM Update then after try flash it by USB cable, if still not communicate then it mean that phone have security blocks damaged and only Service Centre can help.

It doesn't communicate niether FBUS either USB .
It's not hardware problem . The phone is brand new .

then U have problems with ports or computer or U didn't setup port.
FBUS(COM) communication use ROM procedures in phone and there is no possibility that damaged software can block it.
U can erase full all flash and phone will still communicate by COM.

1. check if battery is charged first
2. check for connector if is not dirty
3. check cables

If phone is brand new then should work :) it not mean anything, phone can be burned or after drop to hard surface and can be brand new... :)

And if I have problems with my computer ports why it doesn't communicate in Sony-Ericsson service center ?
P.S. : I used the cables on other phone and are working ...
