Hi!

I'm new here and to this work as well.

I was trying to upgrade MCU and PPM of my friend's 6110 phone using Rolis Flasher v5.14. I think I did it the wrong way! The program gave an error message at the end of the flashing and I ended up with dead phone :(

I tried to flash the backup copy I made but the program freeze when reaching the stage of checking erased rom. Is there any way where I can get the phone back to work?

I even tried to use Dejan program, but could not find f_loader.bin file for 6110!

Please Help Me!

:(

- I can read the flash stored in the phone; but at the end of reading process, rolis program shows a message of bad checksum!

- Still cannot write flash - program freezes at the stage of "Flash erase check."

- One more thing! Rolis program shows 6110 (NSE-1) in the model menu while it is written NSE-3NX beneath the phone's battery! Is this normal?

Hello
After you read the flash file data from phone if program shown checksum error it means your flash data corrupt ,you just need to select an new PPM flash that to phone or MCU file or repair your flash data by some programs e.g PPM manager etc and then flash it back to phone and you phone phone will work again Mr Rolis programs is really reliable! :).. btw NSE -1 is 5110 NOT 6110 , NSE-3 is 6110 I think you just got some confusing for the phone models ;) goodluck!

I switched back to Rolis program ver 4.77 and got some new error messages! When I start to read the flash from the phone, the program says wrong phone type although it shows 6110 in the menu! And instead of freezing in "flash erase check" stage as in version 5.14, the older version says it cannot continue due to phone-type mismatch!

Yes, I know the flash content in the phone is corrupted and the question is how to over-write it! I tried many times with rolis programs (ver. 4.77 & 5.14) using good copy of MCU-PPM but without success!

Regarding the phone's type, in version 5.14 it is written 6110 (NSE-1) and is written 6110 (NSE-3) in version 4.77!
