I wonder what is improved? Some K800i sold already have this EROM.

Nothing new I guess, only a more stronger security ...

I thought it's been taken care by CID (no need for new EROM as CID49, 51, 52 all can be applied to R3A011/16). Well R3A011 is infamous for RED LED flashing/white screen death on K800i and most ppl upgraded to R3A016 seems to fix it. I heard it (EROM) function just like BIOS in computer motherboard.

I can add but as luzer mention I think same that is improved security, that's why I wait with it, R3A016 is enought stable for now
