View Full Version : Cid 52 Not Supported???
ive downloaded a cid-52 firmware; main and fs,, from the kulankendi sw download interfaze,,, i would like to know if i would be to unlock my phone after flashing it to this version,, i think this is a reasonable doubt since,, in the manual says that unlock for cid 52 is no supported, but at the same time,, there are cid 52 firmwares available to d/l through the sw,,
many thanx in advance

if you upload to cid52, you cant unlock it then... upload to a cid51 instead!

Only flash cid52 if your phone is full unlocked. If you unlock you phone by flash patch and then flash your phone to cid52 not only will the phone relock itself but you will have to pay around £25 to unlock it again. As hinito' says flash it with cid 51 and you will be ok. cid52 the main difference is that it is only unlockable via emma3. No real difference to sound, reception, etc.

Never used kulankendi myself. I'm an SETool person myself. If you click the info button on kulankendi with a phone connected does the software show you all of the lock status, etc?
Just guessing that it does. If there is something other than 000-00 for the network then it is full unlocked. If it shows something like 234-15 (UK-VODA) and the phone will accept another net sim then clearly the phone has been patched. Also if any of the locks show "on" and the phone accepts two different network sims then again it has been patched.
Sorry if this is of no help but like I said I have never used kulankendi, but the rules are the same for all of the unlock solutions available atm.
