hello,
has amyone tested griffin DCT-4 flasher?
and what it can do???
:) I'm also interested to view some comments and feedbacks on what can a Griffin DCT-4 Flasher can actually do, maybe nice soft with MCU/PPM Flashing too... but I would like also to hear someone who will show proofs that the developer/s of this tool supports customers with new files/mcu/ppm/languages... with an FTP/download site. Its more cheaper DCT-4 Flashing solution but the question is, with the ever changing Phone type, versions and languages... will it also supports other upcoming phones?
...and the next question, for the benefit of others will be... Have anyone tested DCT-4 Flasher by Unlockking? ... and have anyone tested JIC Neelix II DCT-4 Flasher?:confused:
...these must be a big arguements, but worthy indeed to be discuss for all who are hoping for the best solution in DCT-4 Flashing before someone will give it for free...:D
...I'm not endorsing any products but so far, I got one... and very much tested JIC masterpiece Neelix II... and what can I say: All the best supports from the JIC and Spear's group, 3 updates on software within a week, not speaking of how fast and user-friendly flashing and reviving dead and contact service 8310 and 6510 it can do... plus other extra features of course.
... Griffin or Unlockking or Neelix II... anything will be better... if got some excess bucks left in your big big pockets!!!

i think all hardware based on dejan solution this only i felt when i was going to buy fls-8 and i found a free dct4 logger by dejan at my mail . he send me all the new .. he is the best may b he s the only one can depend on .. to prove that ..simply u can run all software dls..ddp by use dejan dongle.. so when i faced trrobls with dls and ddp for example at 3210 or 3310 cotact service ..i ve solved it by dejan :D :D :D so r this answer about ur enquiryhttp://users.net.yu/~dejan/download/sp_dct4

Hello To all
I bought Neelix2 from Spear 1 week back , The software works VERY VERY VERY GOOD , I have uploaded PPM, MCU AND I have also repaired phones with the problem , "CONTACT SERVICE" phone switch off , and phones in which ring tones do not work
the support has been very good and THE updates are fast ,

Excellent hardware. problem free from day one and most importantly was able to upgrade MCU from day ONE!

I found at least 100 in Phoenix. Looking in the Griffin disassembly
there are only 30 % of Phoenix routines copied. Maybe this is the
reason Griffin is better than Phoenix.

i heard its a masterpiece!
Due to the fact that there is no apoxy resin in my box. I have been clearly instructed by the people I bought it from not to display pictures of the circuit board on the internet or to open or show people my box.
I can tell you though your words that it is a masterpiece are quite true, it is extremely well built and a lot of effort has been made to make it very stable. Every single line connecting to the LPT passes through a resistor!

My associate have buy Iesterday in Bucarest the Griffin soft and box...and he tell me for telephone....the software work very well!!!without problem!!!!
Saturday my associate is coming back and i can try personally this soft..after i writhe my result!!

hmm well all i can say is it must be fairly easy to copy if "griffin" doesn't want anyone to see his masterpiece :(
just by looking at the inside of the box it must be fairly easy, to tell which components are used and if so why not sell the diagram and/or hex for chip if needed ???
hmm is it not better to share ? most of us ppl in this forum are from all over the world and have little chance of taking your business away from you anyway as some of us do it for a hobby !!!
Can we at least see the picture of the box from the outside so we can drool ??? please this is far better than some of those xxx sites anyday lol
What exactly can it do ? functions ?
Will there be updates i.e will the thing be able to handle servicing DCT-5 or whatever comes next from nokia ? (Long shot, but worth asking)

griffin box has original hardware inside used from nokia original hardware
it is big, like the size of a CPU, all stuff is done through this chip.....
yes it is a master piece.
i have not seen neelix 2 working yet, but jic do have the best support.

If you are so confident it`s so easy to crack it, mabe because of the buffers replaced by rezistors, like the neelix ii developer hopes,why don`t you buy one?
As soon as you crack it,you can share the know how to everybody
and they will love you, like they love Dejan!
I was expecting a little more from somebody talking about DCT5!
This is the the REAL support: It`s allready implemented.
Everybody will notice it at the right moment, and FINALLY the stupid price war will end.
We will take care about the design of the case a bit later,the first released versions will be exchanged free of charge, and when you will see the final version, you will admit that is MUCH better and nicer than original hw
At the moment, we are using the old housing used by 95%of the Nokia hw, I mean the first 550 JIC boxes, first 250 DDP boxes and first 1200 DLS boxes.
We had a stock left, because WE developed all these boxes.
The JIC sw and Neelix sw are not ours. Just the first DDP versions, all the DLS versions and the GRIFFIN, wich is made by a kind of a joint venture...

I think now it is time to finish with this stupid conversation,the future time will decide which of the two boxes is the best!

It's finished before even started !
Now is 1500 USD, and the time when Nokia release 7650 will be 300 USD.
Happy upgrading for the next 20 handsets that will come in the future :)
The worst part is that actually everything is one and the same product under diff name. At the end of the day this harm sales in
total because people will say : " Ok there are 5-6 diff companies that developed DCT4 for no time. Where is the point to buy it
now if is so easy to make - 2000 USD is for nothing ! Lets wait while is 200 USD."
